Peter Mesich was very helpful to my case. Although there were times where the odds were seeming against me, Mr. Mesich remained focus and fought hard to expose the truth of the matter. I am definitely thankful to have had Mr. Mesich as my Defense attorney.

I was referred to Peter through a friend when I was arrested for suspicion of DUI. I'm 40 years old and, aside from speeding tickets, have never had a problem with the law, so the event was understandably upsetting. Peter was a safe harbor in that storm. He was compassionate and professional, easing my fears while not promising things that he could not deliver. He was thorough with regards to the details of my case, and was available when I needed to talk with him about it even if I just needed to be talked down from nightmarish imaginings. I was very pleased with the entire process, including the conclusion. In my case, the DUI was dropped to a Wet/Reckless due to the circumstances of my arrest and my low BAC. From the beginning he believed that that was the outcome he could achieve, and while offering that there were possibilities for some better resolutions, he was very clear that that was probably what was going to happen due to the fact that I was pulled over for an issue with my car, not because of my driving, and when they tested my BAC it was very close, but still over, the legal limit. He also was forthright in preparing me for the possibility, however slim, that a full DUI might still be a possibility, and provided me with all the information I might need should that come to pass. Further, when there were some unforeseen complications after the original case due to my schedule and not being able to make it to some of the court prescribed "activities" by the dates set down, he once again took up my cause with the same zeal, and was, again, calming and informative. This is no "fast food" client/lawyer relationship. When I got arrested, I spoke with many of my friends who had been through the process to determine what I should do, many had not obtained legal assistance, and the ones that had had been underwhelmed by their representation to the point that they regretted not having simply gone before the court with the Public Defender, and certainly didn't consider their lawyers to be people they could call on no matter what might occur in the future. That was not my experience. Peter has been there for me with a consistently high level of professionalism, availability, and knowledge even beyond the conclusion of the original case. In terms of payment, his rate was very reasonable and he took into account my particular financial situation and was flexible with regards to a payment plan that would be satisfactory for both of us. Of the experience I would say that not only was working with Peter "painless", but in fact he relieved much of the mental and emotional pain that came during this entire process. I would absolutely recommend Peter Mesich to anyone finding themselves with a possible DUI hanging over them, and, in fact, already have referred friends to him with almost the exact wording of this review as my recommendation!

Peter was amazing. Last summer I made a horrible decision to drive after drinking too much and was facing DUI charges that could have ended my career. A friend recommended Peter. He was kind, compassionate, non judgemental, very easy to talk to, and easy to get a hold of. He’s also driven and knows the system; He did a lot of research, was knowledgeable about the how the system works and was able to negotiate my case down to a reckless driving charge and an infraction. He worked a miracle, saved my career, and was awesome to work with! A potentially devistating life altering decision has become a lesson learned and I'm so thankful.

I am SOOOO thankful I found Peter to represent me (and basically my family) in my case. I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND Peter Mesich to anyone needing a Defense Attorney and I recommend him every chance I get!! I actually spoke to Peter the first time I called, and every time after that. He was honest, straightforward, took time to listen and understand my case initially, and gave me an honest assessment. I trusted him right away. I'm sure that without Peter, my case would have turned out drastically different, and for the worst. I am very thankful for the results Peter Mesich got for my 18 year old granddaughter's DUI case. He was able to lower the B.A.C. level, avoid property hit and run charges and quickly resolve the case to all the best possible outcomes. Faced with the diffuculty of choosing the best attorney, my granddaughter and her mom opted to interview four attorneys. She choose Peter because he was able to communicate with her and gave her confidence. While I did attend in the initial "meetings" with each of the four attorneys the final choice up to my granddaughter. All I can say is my choice was Peter from the get go, and I was happy to see my granddaugher independently arrive at the same conclusion. Peter's follow up, communication, advise and instructions as to what we needed to present the case were impeccable. He also has stayed in touch with my granddaughter after the court resolution to assure she completes the required course, dmv and legal follow through. I would happily recommend him to anyone facing the tough choice of picking the right DUI attorney. His retainer fee covered everything, it was reasonable considering it was way less than the top fee attorneys we did not select.

I contacted Peter Mesich when I was written up for a misdemeanor - VC23109(c) - "Speed contests" - by a Lifeguard while on my way to meet a friend to go hiking at Torrey Pines State Park. As ridiculous as it seemed to me that I was even written this kind of ticket, Peter made sure to exhaust all potential perspectives and to get a clear understanding of the incident in order to develop solid defenses. He was thorough, responsive, and informative throughout the entire process. His background and understanding of the prosecution and the way they work is invaluable. He is knowledgeable and very professional. Peter was able to identify and show several loop holes in the Lifeguard's report/story to eventually get the misdemeanor down to a zero-point infraction with a very small fine, without even going to court. I highly recommend Peter as an attorney. He is the best out there, hands down.

I am an experienced paralegal and legal secretary and have worked with attorneys for 20 + years. A very good friend of mine referred me to Peter Mesich when I got arrested while "driving under the influence" (of prescription medicine) with my daughter in the car. I spent a night in jail and I felt horrible about the situation and myself. Along with being a great attorney, Peter is very kind and non-judgmental. He explained to me that officers of the law have certain duties and responsibilities to civilians, even if one is suspected of driving under the influence, and an attorney's job is to make sure the officers don't take advantage of their position or ignore your rights as an individual. Peter handled my whole case without my having to do much of anything, but I knew he would have let me be more involved had I wanted to. Peter got a feel for how much I wanted to participate and respected my feelings of not wanting to be constantly reminded of the situation. Towards the end of the case I asked Peter if I owed him more money and he told me my retainer covered everything. I was extremely impressed with this because I believe many attorneys would have tried to get more money out of me. Overall, Peter is very knowledgeable, responsive, trustworthy and he definitely kept me very well informed of what was happening in my case and what to expect. I would highly recommend Peter Mesich to anyone who needs legal help.

I was cited for DUI and driving on a suspended license a few months ago. I met with and hired Peter A Mesich. I could not be any more pleased with his performance and the results he got for me. I am more than thrilled. Peter not only got my case dismissed, but he did it fast. I never had to appear in court personally and when it was all said and done my fines were minimal ($50 plus $25 for dmv fees). I still can't believe the fantastic results he got for me.
