Jonathan helped me and my family with five immigration cases. I came to the U.S. in 2001. After five years later, I applied for citizenship in 2006, but FBI and the Department of Homeland Security held my file for 1.5 years for no reason. I went to the immigration office many times and asked about the process, but every time they just told me "FBI pending." I started looking for a lawyer to solve the problem. I contacted several lawyers, but they all asked for $7k or more. Eventually I found Jonathan, and he only charged me $1200. Jonathan sued U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), FBI and Homeland Security. The court date was about one month from the date he sued. Immigration settled with Jonathan and gave me a citizenship less than three weeks, and we dropped the case.
Next, Jonathan helped my sister and her family to get U.S. residency. He did all the paperwork, and everything went smooth and fast. Finally, my wife recently got his help to change her immigration status. It took only about three months from the date we applied to get her residency.
We all appreciate him so much for his honest and efficient work for such reasonable fees.

There's no way to verify if the positive reviews of this lawyer are legit or not. However, this review is 100% legit and truthful.
Hired this attorney back in 2006 to represent in immigration court. He was completely negligent to file a waiver without the proper evidence, proper legal strategy...etc. My ex-husband had signed affidavits to submit as evidence and he decided that they were not necessary and did not file them!
He absolutely never prepared for the "trial". On numerous occasions he was asked what would transpire in court and his response was always, "you'll be asked a few questions by the judge" He never informed that the government's prosecutor was going to grill, there was going to be cross-examination,...etc.
There were critical documents that needed to be submitted, critical in person testimony, yet this attorney decided were not necessary. Not knowing how badly he had handled the case, he convinced us he could attempt to win the case at the Board of Immigration Appeals. Not knowing any better and given the low cost and legal 'package' purchased, he was hired again.
Automatically, the case was lost.
Objectively speaking, this attorney should be disbarred. The only reason I have not filed a formal complaint at the California bar is because all the facts of the case will be made public and my right for privacy will go out the window. I am not ready to broadcast to the world my entire case just yet.
Again, this a truthful review and if anybody has any questions regarding this attorney, I will be happy to speak with you: 3**10~~~~~~~~4**3~~8>>>>>>7***7###5++++*8

It's so nice to hear that the petition has been approved. Warren and I were so thankful that God's favor is with us. With how things work, it's just amazing! We're also thankful that God sent us a hardworking lawyer like you. Congratulations to you too, I believe our success is yours too, as we are helping each other in this process.
Even from the first time we met Atty. Montag, he genuinely seemed concerned about our situation and wanted to help us.You were honest and direct yet always optimistic. You always had time for us whether it via e-mail, by phone, or in person and you honestly made us feel that we were your only clients. We also greatly appreciated the fact that you took into account our financial situation and set us up with a payment plan.
Thank you again for your work and for all your help with my green card petition... please accept our heartfelt thanks for your help, for the professional service offered in obtaining a permanent resident visa. Not only have you offered expert and capable guidance, but also provided considerate and careful assistance. We felt extremely at ease working with you at all times...
We would strongly recommend your services to anyone for any immigration matters.

We were looking for a lawyer for an immigration case for my wife and I. We went to see a few lawyers until we picked one. A few of the lawyers gave us bad advice, one was even trying to convince us to have my wife leave the county and go through a consulate process. Mr. Montag was the last lawyer we spoke too. He was the most reasonably priced. During our initial consultation he verified everything we had questions about. He also allowed us to setup a reasonable payment plan. He made us feel comfortable and was always on top of everything. It feels good knowing that the person you are working with you can trust. He seemed to have a good reputation with everhyone at the USCIS office when we went for our final interview. If you are looking for an immigration lawyer look no further.

Needing legal consultation on an immigration issue, I was pleased to find Mr Montag very helpful and Knowledgeable.
He gave me the time of day on the phone to hear my concerns and then offered us his recommendations, after which Mr Montag helped ease some of our major headaches with extremely relevant information.
I would be more than happy to contract his services as and when the time comes.
