Very professional and got me a complete dismissal.

Lindsey recently represented my college freshman. As an out-of-state parent, I was extremely impressed by Lindsey. She was well versed in the legal system and talked us through ever step, outlining options and making solid recommendations for a positive outcome. She guided my son to be proactive and learn from the experience. Lindsey was always available for all of our questions and concerns. None of us ever want to have our children in a situation that requires legal help but if that time comes, I would highly recommend Lindsey.

Ms. Mercer has been working with us for 3 yrs. and has resolved several issues for my son. He had still been having a hard time getting jobs because of his probations, but with Lindsey's encouragement, my son finally got his life back on track and is now going back to school to better himself. Ms Mercer was able to get his records expunged early, and he is now able to move on with his life. I am very grateful for Lindsey's honesty and dedication to looking out for her client's best interests . Her costs are very reasonable, but she is worth 10 times her fees!!!! From the moment I contacted her, Lindsey was extremely responsive and helpful. She helped my brother with a legal issue that had been dogging him for years. She was able to prevent him from going to jail even though there was an arrest warrant, quickly got him off probation, was able to negotiate a much reduced restitution amount and even got the court to waive the court fees. In the process of doing so, she treated my brother with great respect, listened closely to his needs and worked professionally with the DA’s office to quickly resolve the matter. Working with Ms. Mercer (especially after a rather unpleasant experience with another attorney) was a pleasure. She went above and beyond our expectations and hopes. Lindsey Bronwyn Mercer is an excellent lawyer, I am 100% satisfied and so glad that I hired her! I called Lindsey one week before my court date for my Minor In Possession of alcohol and it was no problem that I had procrastinated calling her. She was extremely helpful and explained all of my options to me and how she would be able to help. She placed no pressure on me to hire her or decide quickly, which made the whole process much easier. We agreed on a very good price and within just a couple of days she had everything taken care of and went to court for me. After the court date and reviewing the police reports, she learned that the City Attorney wrote me for a few additional misdemeanors besides the MIP, (operating a vehicle while knowing there is alcohol in the car when underage, possession of a false I.D., etc.) With these additional misdemeanors added on to my violation, it would be much more difficult to attain the desired case results (all misdemeanors lowered to one infraction and no license suspension.) This added to many more additional hours of work for Lindsey without any extra charge or expense on me (very grateful for that!) After the court stated that they would drop all but one misdemeanor (which would still include a license suspension), Lindsey told me exactly what I needed to do to hopefully get the court to drop that last misdemeanor. She provided me with all of the information and papers I needed to get signed to help my case. After doing just about everything on her recommended list, I emailed her the papers and she put everything together for me and went to the next court date. That same day after the court meeting, she emailed me with the good news that we got the results we wanted! I am so glad I was referred to her. She is very smart and knows what she is doing and how to achieve the results her and her client wants. Thank you!

She works to make you feel comfortable and at ease and wants to make the process as painless as possible. I recommend using Lindsey Mercer for your legal needs. Lindsey helped me fight an MIP. I could have lost my license for a year and have this misdemeanor on my permanent record however she was able to fight this MIP and reduce it to an infarction and fine. I am so grateful for Lindsey and her help. She is very responsive- after 4 years I needed more informaiton about the legal proceedings to disclose to my future employer and she had all of the information still and responded immediately. She even wrote a letter explaining the infarction to my future employer.

As a full time student it would have been near imposible to personally keep up to date with my case so it was important that I find a lawyer who was proactive and kept me well informed of all proceedings. Ms. Mercer has done just that over the last year responding to any and all by frequently communicating via e-mail and phone to keep me informed of my case and answer and questions or concerns. Another aspect I enjoyed about Ms. Mercer's counsel was that she never sugar coated anything--it's always been here's what is going on, here's how I think we can resolve the issue, here's what I need from you--so I never felt like we were wasting time or there was no progress being made in my case. Short and simple, Mr. Mercer is very knowledgable about her field of work, works closely with clients to accomplish a mutually set goal, and bottom line is that I would not reccomend anyone else for those in the Southern California area.

Ms. Mercer has defended several of my family members in very difficult cases. From drug sales (large quantity) and robbery to the favorable resolution of a 20 year old felony warrant case. Ms. Mercer is knowledgeable and trustworthy and I would give her and C. Brad Patton an overall rating of excellent+ as inicated above. However, that is not why I've hired them (her) 3 times and recommended her multiple times to other family members and friends. I have hired her because she goes the extra mile for my family members who have been in trouble; very serious trouble- from looking at a 3rd strike, to drug sales, to home invasion (robbery). One case is pending and the others were resolved favorably considering the charges and potential eposure/prison time. Mr. B. Patton and Ms. Mercer are caring, interested, professional, respectful, and personal. They are not apathetic or cynical in a a profession where I have personally experienced both. Client and family are treated with compassion and held accountable at the same time. . They humanize and dignify their clients in a very inhumaine and undignified environment. I would highly recommend Ms. Mercer and the Law Offices of C. Brad Patton in any legal matter, particularly criminal. I had two charges with the school that put me up for suspension and loss of my driver's license for a year with an additional fine. She took care of both incidents and gave me really good pointers as far as my meeting with school administrators for my possible suspension. I am still going to school and am free of all charges on my record.

Ms. Mercer represented my son in a criminal defense matter. I have been an attorney for over 25 years, and got her name from an attorney who practiced in her county. I could not have been more impressed in all categories noted above. Ms. Mercer successfully negotiated the case and, moreover, filed and argued a motion to expunge the arrest from my son's record. The tentative ruling was to deny the motion. She argued it so well that the Judge granted it. I will not forget the attorney who approached her after the hearing to compliment her on a job well done. Although her results were excellent, I would highly recommend Ms. Mercer even if the court ruled against my son. I was certain that he had the best representation possible; and that she truly cared about him.
