Client ReviewsCould there be two attorneys with this name in LaMesa?Posted by: a Employment client, 2011-07-27 7 months ago. Flag
Client Review:
Very personable lawyer in person. Well spoken. Makes you want to trust him because he seems like a really nice guy. I think he is a nice guy. However, I lost a settlement offer because he did not get it to me before it expired. Ultimately, the case settled for a lot less and throughout, he was very difficult to reach for any kind of conversation. And no, I am not the kind of person to call every day or 10x a day or without purpose/meaning. I never got any of the documents, including a signed out of court settlement with a former employer, from him. I've asked him several times. I have never seen a piece of correspondance from him on letterhead. Any attorney I have ever used has sent me at least a dozen pieces of correspondance. All I wanted is my copy of the signed settlement agreement. He still makes a lot of excuses about it. Still a nice guy though. The reason for the title? Well, I researched George de la Flor, Esq in La Mesa before hiring him, and he was also referred to me by another attorney. Compared to the rest of the attorneys I have dealt with, he is very personable and likable. From the settlement and paperwork issues, I cannot believe he is that high rated lawyer. If you need a likable attorney and no paperwork, he's the guy for you.
Responsive, excellent advise, extremely knowledgeable, highly recommendedPosted by: Emily, a Discrimination client, 2011-01-13 about 1 year ago. Flag
Client Review:
I emailed Mr. de la Flor a question I had about a possible discrimination case, and immediately I received a response that was very thorough and detailed to the issue at hand. He offered excellent advise, had brought things to mind that I hadn't thought of and validated my concerns. Even though he believed I didn't have a case, he offered other solutions to the problem. All this free of charge! I was able to sleep at night knowing that I had contacted the RIGHT attorney that did not take advantage of me or the situation, I'm forever grateful. Thank you kindly!

TerminationPosted by: a Wrongful Termination client, 2009-06-16 over 2 years ago. Flag
Client Review:
For the past nine years I was employed as a VP of Sales for a 21 billion dollar, global organization. In what was called a “reorganization” I was terminated and given a small severance package. The severance documentation suggested I consult an attorney to review prior to signing. I was reluctant to do so . . . pay checks were soon going to stop and I did not need to add an attorney to my list of obligations. I called a few lawyers in San Diego discussed my case and was recommended to George de la Flor.
I met with George and in the first meeting immediately found he was more than an employment attorney. He listened. He offered counseling. He calmed me down. And while I went out to look for future employment, George represented me against a very large and well paid legal department. In the end, I was awarded a much “enhanced” exit package. George then went on to insure I was paid for outstanding commission owed. The decision to hire, not just any attorney but, George de la Flor was the single best career decision I made. I am back to work and George is reviewing my NEW non- compete language. I highly recommend the services of this office. |
