I was raised in the central valley of California and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology, with a Victimology option, at CSU, Fresno. I received my Juris Doctorate, with an emphasis on advocacy and dispute resolution, from Chapman University School of Law.
While studying at Chapman, I worked to assist victims of violent crimes with their Immigration matters and was also honored for my commitment to service through Pro Bono legal work. In addition, I worked as a certified student law clerk for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office, where I drafted legal pleadings and appeared in court hearings on behalf of the People of the State of California.
As a practicing attorney, I have continued to work with Immigration Law. I have also worked with civil litigation firms whose law practices focused on litigation matters related to lending institutions and real property disputes in state and federal courts, as well as bankruptcy and other legal areas. As a solo practitioner, my experience continues to broaden- including family law, probate, contract drafting, bankruptcy, criminal law and other civil.
I remain dedicated to legal issues relating to victims' rights, humanitarian immigration law and community outreach and education.
