Ms. Chan represented plaintiff Ching Wang, a native Mandarin Chinese speaker against her former attorney, James Li for fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and other related causes of action. Defendant attorney James Li gave his former client, a written contract of a guaranteed "win" (favorable outcome) at trial. Attorney James Li was UCLA Law graduate, practicing for over 16 years at the time of trial.
