I went to Mr. Gastelum after getting positive feedback from a close friend. I have never retained an attorney before, so I was initially uncomfortable. However, this was my portfolio that I have worked extremely hard to build so I did want to make the process difficult for my family when the time comes.
Little trouble finding an appointment. The 60/605 freeway interchange was the only trouble I had getting there. You dont have to pay for parking.
When I first met him, alot of my concerns in working with attorneys went away. Very friendly and didn't intimidate me with his knowledge and complicated jargon. I would recommend him and use him again.

I needed help with a child custody matter and a friend of mine recommended Gastelum Law. I called them and they setup an appointment right away. Omar was caring and listened to my situation and offered a strategy for wrapping the case up quickly. He did look at his phone frequently but he runs a busy office and that was understandable. I hired him that day (sometime in Jan 2012) and he took the time to explain to me how long these types of cases typically take. He got to work immediately and sent me regular updates even when I didn't ask. He told me it would take about a year, but now the case is wrapped up already and me and my daughter are happy with the results. Thanks for being supportive and effective throughout this whole ordeal.

From the day I retained Omar and his firm to the day my case settled I was confident that I had hired the right person for the job. His updates are always timely and prompt. He is knowledge of the law and his willingness to go the extra mile to get me the best possible results were always evident. I will definitely be hiring again if I find myself in need of a caring, passionate and knowledgeable lawyer.

Prior to the current attorney that I had retained, I employed the services of Mr. Gastelum. Mr. Gastelum proved to be impersonal and uncaring. He display of arrogance, proved to be nothing more than a facade for his lack of knowledge of the legal system. Mr. Gastelum does not do any of his briefings, but utlizes his inexperienced law clerks and newly hired lawyers to do all his bidings. I do not recommend him at all. Since my horrible experience with Mr. Gastelum, I retained a very knowledgable attorney who not only knew family law, but responded to my questions readily, unlike Mr. Gastelum. Mr. Gastelum is all about money and not the clients he represents.
