Spitzer has no remorse or regrets about providing a case quote and then blowing past it by 400% , withholding his billings so you never know, and then sending you a bill after you've settled. He ignores any challenge of the billing until after the one year malpractice statute passes and then he sues his clients, often and regular. He'll hopefully end up in jail. I'll remain anonymous to avoid retaliation.

Attorney Daniel B Spitzer represented me in 3 lawsuits and 2 other legal matters involving business and commercial matters over a period spanning about 5 years. He usually kept me in the dark about his plans and decisions in my cases and if I called to ask he immediately sent a bill even if he did not respond fully about my affairs. In one case he neglected to argue in trial an important issue that cost me more than half the award. He never tried to settle with the other side and in fact discouraged such approach. Needless to say, this way he enriched himself. Over the years, after working with Spitzer I worked with two other lawyers that were so much more knowledgeable, trustworthy, reasonable, and most importantly more pleasant to work with and not arrogant.

Spitzer represented me in a law suit as the plantiff. His performance seemed to expand the case for his own billings alone, never to resolve the case in my favor. I ended up filing a malpractice suit against him. I'll remain anonymous to be prudent and protect myself.
