  • Readiness hearing and subpoena

I'm the victim can someone explain what will I have to do and what these are

If this is a criminal case, the subpoena simply states when/where you must appear in court. If they have not done so already, they may take a "witness statement" which is your version of what took place. The readiness hearing is where both sides and the judge review the case to see if all discovery (evidence) has been exchanged and if no plea is reached, whether it is ready to go forward to trial.
