Homeowners liability insurance will not cover auto insurance claims. If you have not yet consulted a personal injury attorney please do so immediately. He will help ascertain if the driver was the registered owner in order to ascertain if an additional; policy exits. Further, it is important to rule out if the other driver was the agent of another person, or was in the course & scope of employment at the time of the accident. Also the assets of the at fault driver should be investigated for...

At least consult a local personal injury attorney - what have you got to lose since many offer a free initial consultation and on a contingency fee basis (no attorney retainer or hourly fee - instead a percentage of the personal injury recovery). That attorney will be able to assist in the investigation of the claim & obtaining medical care if needed on a lien basis (no payment until case is settled). Seek professional assistance ASAP. Best wishes

Sorry to hear about your injuries. Sounds like you have a good case that need proper investigation & handling by a local personal injury attorney. Your injuries sound severe & you will need to be compensation for your medical bills; lost wages; and pain & suffering. Do not give any statements to any claims representatives etc. Most personal injury attorneys like myself give free initial consultations. Consult with an attorney immediately!!

Appears to be a rather minor touching. While of course not legally permitted there doesn't seem to be any significant injuries that could result in a realistic claim for tort damages. You should definitely report this incident to HR. If there is an retaliation because of your report you need to seek the immdediate advise of a labor law attorney

Both attorneys Simon & Bright have given you good information. You have apparently filed a complaint with the State Bar & they are investigating, so you will be informed of their findings. I am happy to learn that you case has been settled, which is the most important thing. You should direct your questions to your second attorney - perhaps a lawsuit was never filed by the first attorney, instead a telephone call or letter to the insurance carrier notifying them of a pending claim; or perhaps...

Depending on the severity of the injury and the related past and future medical expenses; wages losses; and possible permanent injuries sustained the claim might ultimately be resolved within the limits of your liability coverage. Even if the injuries are extensive often the injured party will accept the policy limits rather than chase the personal assets of the at fault party. If the injured party in your accident has sustained serious injuries you should consult with a personal injury...
