I don't even know what to say other than Mr. Bialys saved me big time! I got my 2nd DUI even though I had only had 2 drinks, and he got it reduced to a wet & reckless! Not only do I not have to serve any jail time, but he even got my fines reduced! He always was there to answer my questions and was very honest with me from the get go. Also he kept me in the loop the entire time which my first attorney didn't do on my first DUI. I can't thank him enough he was amazing!!!
My uncle caught a felony dui case with Great Bodily Injury. Michael never showed up to a single court hearing as he said he would. He always sent his associate Attorney Michael Rodriguez, which was also a terrible attorney. Promised to reduced the sentence but gave my uncle the worst sentence with a strike. He is serving several years in prison. They didn't care about the case because we had paid him in full already. I suggest if you're looking for an attorney, don't choose this one, you will just end up serving time. I rather go with a public defender then this guy, I'm sure they would do a better job. He steals your money and makes you think he is doing something by asking for several extensions. He got us the maximum sentence when the first offer was 1 year. My cousin was sentenced to 5 years and a strike for a felony dui when it was obvious that there was lack of evidence. The police officer's testimony made no sense but they did nothing to challenge it. My cousin was a first offender and he could have gotten a way better deal. Michael pressured him into not going to trial. He told him he would lose and get the maximum sentence. And c'mon look at the other posts it's obvious he is a bad attorney! He just argues back to try to defend himself and save his reputation. Don't take my word for it, compare all the reviews.
i called several DUI lawyers in search of someone i trusted to help me through a "bad" experience. Michael truly took all the time i needed on my initial call to really help me understand everything and actually put me at ease. every step of the way Michael or one of his employees called me and let me know what was going to happen next and what to expect. even during those moments i was freaking out Michael always took the time to return my call calm my nerves and help me understand everything i was worried about. during this rough spot in my life Michael and his whole staff took care of me... i highly recommend
Reduced my felony dui to a misdemeanor. I couldn't be happier with my decision to move forward in my case with Michaels office. Andrew has done a great job defending me and I'm sure he makes Michael proud all the time.
After several court and dmv extensions. I was not informed of the last dates for both. Which resulted in a warrant for my arrest. Which I finally received in the mail a month or so afterwards, when I called him about it I was told they tried to contact me!!!! Really? They had my address , old cell, new cell, home number, and email, why would I ignore any of those? I hired another attorney and he had everything settled within 12 days. When I asked for a partial refund, I got a definitive NO! Do not hire this attorney. It cost me 3grand for nothing
I contacted Michael Bialys after I was picked up and held on a 26,000 bond for a 17 year old Traffic Warrant. With Attorneys David Shapiro and Michael Rodriquez , We were able to completely drop three charges of failure to appear , expired license plates and no driver license and only paying a fine for a misdemeanor . Thanks to them
When my situation first happened I was absolutely devastated. I feared losing my job and livelihood. I contacted several lawyers who gave me the absolute worst news, one lawyer said I would face 2 years in prison and it made me absolutely frantic. When I contacted Michael, he calmed me down and assured me that I would face no jail time and he would make sure my life stayed in tact. NO OTHER lawyers stated what he did. I immediately felt at ease and some of my worries diminished. He informed me that other lawyers were using scare tactics to take my money. Michael is at times hard to get ahold of and that frustrated me at first, but then I realized he is just a good lawyer, in high demand. My first instincts were right about him, he pulled through and saved my life. I only received a small amount of community service and everything he said from start was true; he lived up to his words and pulled through for me. Michael is honest and will tell you what he is capable of accomplishing. Don't listen to other lawyers, listen to michael; he speaks only of the truth!
Michael is probably the best in his field, especially in California. He listens, he is empathetic and he gets the job done. He navigates the process and achieves fair and balanced outcomes. My only regret is that I did not hire him from the very beginning. He helped me regain some of my self-respect. Micheal was able to have my record expunged. I will always be grateful for his professional assistance and his care and concern for my case.
I've found Michael to be responsible, available and knowlegable. Give him your name and he will give you up to date information on your case and all the legal steps necessary to move forward to a satisfactory conclusion.
I will commend Michael for being very responsive in the very beginning, but after he gets his main fee, you never hear from him again. After doing much of my own research and consulting another attorney, I realized how little he helped my case. It was a waste of several thousand dollars. He caused more stress than calming any fears due to his unprofessional attitude. Despite his alleged track record, he was unable to help my case in any of the ways he stated he could. He also missed a scheduled court date and completely misinformed me on several legal matters, which could have caused me even more serious trouble down the road, had another attorney not stepped in. He would never return phone calls or emails, and when I asked him for proof that he actually worked my case, he never gave me paperwork which I legally am able to review. Remember your rights as a client, and notice that in all the other negative reviews, his response is an attack on the person for being honest instead of an apology. As a defendant, it is helpful to have the lawyer on your side.
