Una Lee Jost is a Southern California attorney residing in the city of Pasadena, California. She has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2001, and is admitted to practice law in the California Central District of the United States District Court and all California state courts. She graduated from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 2001, where she served as articles editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.
Una has acquired a decade of legal experience in a wide variety of venues (public interest, private practice, government, corporate, civil, criminal), providing her with broad perspective in the many ways that law intersects with life. While in law school, Una interned at the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice, California Attorney General's Office, and Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. After graduating from law school, Una worked as a civil litigator in Los Angeles private law firms for six years where she represented numerous businesses, public entities, and nonprofits. She then served as in-house legal counsel to a non-profit private university for three years before forming Jost Legal in order to put her decade of legal experience into use in serving California's small businesses and nonprofits.
Una is also a lover of music. For a while, she was the perennial wedding singer, and has served many years as music worship leader for local churches. While in college, she formed an artists troupe for college students to share their musical talents to folks in hospitals, homeless shelters, and convalescent homes. As a poor starving law student, she also worked as an instructor for a music academy in West Los Angeles. When not working, Una can be found trying out food recipes, experimenting with her synthesizer/keyboards, or spending time with her computer programmer husband, Geoffrey Jost.
