A likely scenario would be a plan that starts out with a little visitation and gradually increases over time to give him a greater time share with your daughter.     Not every estate needs to go through a formal probate. Estates under $100,000.00 can be handled by use of an affidavit. Additionally, any assets that are jointly titled or have beneficiary designations pass according to those terms.
