Scott Edward Walker

Scott Edward Walker is the founder and CEO of Walker Corporate Law Group, PLLC, a boutique corporate law firm specializing in the representation of entrepreneurs and their companies. Mr. Walker has 15+ years of broad corporate-law experience, including nearly eight years at two prominent New York law firms, where he represented a number of major multinational corporations (e.g., Sony and Daimler), financial institutions (e.g., J.P. Morgan) and private equity firms (e.g., Apollo) in transactions valued in the billions of dollars.

In 2005, to satisfy his entrepreneurial spirit (and heeding the call to “go west”), Mr. Walker moved from New York City to Southern California, where he worked for nearly four years at two regional law firms, handling middle-market M&A transactions, financings and restructurings for public and private companies, private equity firms and entrepreneurs. Representative transactions include: (i) IAC/InterActiveCorp’s acquisition of an Israeli-based tech company (2008); (ii) Rustic Canyon/Fontis Partners’ preferred stock financing of an India-based food company (2008) and leveraged-buyout of a California-based food company (2008); (iii) Champion-Arrowhead’s debt restructuring and recapitalization (2008); (iv) Alta Healthcare System’s reverse merger with an AMEX-listed healthcare company (2007); and (v) Hollywood Capital’s and The Compass Group’s simultaneous acquisition of two medical device companies (2006).

Mr. Walker graduated from Cornell University (A.B.), St. John’s University School of Law (J.D.) and New York University School of Law (LL.M., Corporation Law) and is a member of the California, New York and Washington, D.C. Bars and numerous Bar committees, including the Committee on Mergers and Acquisitions and the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee, each of the American Bar Association.
