I was first adverse to Mr. Wells over ten years ago on a discrimination/retaliation case wherein I represented a defendant. He was a tenacious bulldog and a relentless advocate for his client, the plaintiff. Eventually the matter was settled for what was then, the largest amount ever awarded an discriminated-against employee of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (over $1.5 million). Later, I began associating Mr. Wells in discrimination cases which were referred to me and we were able to prosecute a string of them to a series of $1 million results for our clients. These days, I am privileged to work alongside of him. He is regarded as a monumental litigator by the California Employment Lawyers Association.
