I help innovators and creators build and grow businesses as a lawyer and venture catalyst.
Over the past decade, I have worked with companies such as Sony, DirecTV, Warner Bros., Disney, Mitsubishi and Samsung, tech companies like Fullscreen, Science, DanceOn, Channel Factory, DigiTour, Viddy, Eventup, Tradesy, Wittlebee, Column Five Media, Citrusbyte, Slate Studio, and Neon Roots, and influencers such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Perry Farrell, will.i.am, Jack & Jack, David Babaii, Shalini Vadhera, David Copperfield and many others.
I also help clients with fundraising materials and strategy, business development, influencer activation and product refinement. Clients and collaborators include leading entertainment companies, top brands, celebrities and funded startups.
After graduating from UCLA cum laude and earning a law degree at USC, I practiced corporate and entertainment law at top LA firms for 7 years before joining Audiolife, where I helped the company raise millions in funding and successfully pivot to launch and an eventual sale. In 2010, I founded Music180, the world's premiere talent development network, featuring hundreds of the world's top music professionals. The company generated revenue from month one and secured partnerships with Guitar Center, Bandzoogle, Berklee, Musicians Institute, as well as major labels and publishers.
As a speaker and advisor, I have been featured at General Assembly, Digital LA, UCLA, USC, Startup Weekend, Lean Startup Machine, Lean LA, ROC, io/LA, Silicon Beach Fest, Business Rockstars, Trasvergence Summit, Free Lunch Friday, Digital Hollywood, CMJ, ASCAP Expo, Miami Music Festival, Musicians Institute and other events.
