Last year I was involved in a lawsuit with a previous employer. Dolores Leal, came highly recommended by a family friend, so I hired her to represent me. Her accolades alone are quite impressive, but she was beyond helpful, incredibly thoughtful and constantly kept me in the loop. Dealing with legal matters can be so stressful, especially after someone has experience a trauma similar to the one I had to endure. It's been several months since we've settled out of court and she still responds to my emails and answers all of my questions. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.
I had the experience of utilizing Ms. Leal in a recent wrongful termination case. She was most professional and very detail to analyze the circumstances of my case. At all time she kept me informed of the current status of the case.
I was recently terminated from my position and contacted (4) four other attorney offices and even walked into one office before I called Dolores' firm. Each attorney I called, I never made it past the receptionist despite all of their websites stating "Call for a free consultation". Instead, I was told "Let me take down your information and we'll have one of our attorneys review your case. If they believe you have a case, they'll call you".
When I called Allred Maroko Goldberg, I asked to speak with an attorney regarding a potential Unlawful Termination case. I was connected immediately to Dolores. Dolores not only took my call, but spent the next 20 minutes asking me different questions pertaining to my potential case. As my situation required me to make a relatively quick decision, I was hoping at the least if I could just speak to an actual attorney who could give me some legal guidance as to my rights, if my rights had been violated, and if I did have a case against my former employer, would it be worth putting me and my family through and for how long. Dolores not only took the time to address my concerns, but as importantly, took the time to really explain the legal aspects of my potential case. She was clear and direct, but never judgemental or in a hurry to dismiss me. She even took the time to return a follow-up message I had left her over a 3-day weekend. Feeling that the best situation for me was to not file litigation, Dolores gave me her honest feedback that was in my best interest.
I am very comfortable and confident recommending Dolores to anyone who may be seeking legal representation knowing that she will put her client and her client's best interest first above and before anything else.
