About Me

Henry Self has more than a decade of diverse experience representing musicians, actors, writers, directors, producers and other talent in a variety of litigation and transactional matters. He has taken part in precedent-setting published cases in both state and federal courts, authored various legal publications and also acted as a music supervisor and associate producer for numerous short and feature length motion pictures. He is admitted to practice law in California and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Self holds a juris doctor from the University of California Los Angeles, where he served as Articles Editor of the Entertainment Law Review, earned a place on the Moot Court Honors Program National Team and received the Melville B. Nimmer Memorial Scholarship. Prior to law school, he studied advertising and marketing at the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
