If this happened in Orange County, I would go online and check to see if there is anything under your name date of birth and drivers license number. You may have a warrant for your arrest and not even know about it. Click the link below which should lead you to the OC Courts Elliot Zarabi www.TipsyLaw.com 213-612-7720

Yes, not because of the simple marijuana charge but rather because of the probation violation. Usually simple marijuana is an infraction. But because of the specific terms of your probation, you should definitely look into hiring an attorney for this. Elliot Zarabi www.FreeCriminalConsultation.com 213-612-7720

You definitely should not plea guilty right off the bat. Luckily, if you cannot afford an attorney, the court will appoint one for you (usually the public defender). Therefore, you should definitely ask for the Public Defender if you really cannot afford an attorney. Best of luck! Elliot Zarabi www.zarabilaw.com 213-612-7720

Probation is possible, but how famous your attorney is, doesn't make a difference! It is really how good your attorney is that makes a difference. You should feel confident in your attorney and move forward with him. Good luck!

  5. Is it legal for police to render a verdict of self defence in a homicide case within 24 hours without a proper investigation???

The police department writes the report and the Da makes its decision based on that report. If the DA decides to drop the charges, it's up to them. The police may recommend that it was self defense but the final call is up to the DA. Sorry for your loss! And you can always hire a private investigator or an attorney to look more into the details and try and reopen the case. Elliot Zarabi www.FreeCriminalConsultation.com 213-612-7720

Mr. Feasal is correct, either the DA dismissed counts one and two as a result of plea bargain dealing and he plead to count 3 or the jury only found him guilty of count 3 and counts one and two were not guilty.

You have a few options, to try and avoid being taken to jail and getting the bench warrant recalled, you can hire an attorney to go in there and recall and quash the warrant and get you re-enrolment papers. If you cannot afford an attorney, you will HAVE TO go in yourself to get this done. Elliot Zarabi www.FreeCriminalConsultation.com 213-612-7720

For purposes of DUI under .08, VC 23152(a) is the code that would be used. Under VC 23152 (A) the prosecution would have the burden of proving that you were unfit to drive a motor vehicle and you can still be found guilty of a DUI. Elliot Zarabi www.TipsyLaw.com 213-612-7720
