Mr. Rubenstein advises a wide range of clients on immigration, divorce, family, litigation, personal injury, bankruptcy and general business and commercial law matters. Prior to forming his firm, Mr. Rubenstein was an associate in the Washington, D.C. and Orange County, California offices of leading international law firms. Prior to that, Mr. Rubenstein clerked for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California in San Diego.
Mr. Rubenstein received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center where he was a Notes Editor on the Georgetown Law Journal, Georgetown's Law Review.
Mr. Rubenstein is the author of "Merger & Acquisition Fairness Opinions: A Critical Look at Judicial Extensions of Liability to Investment Banks," which was published as a note in the Georgetown Law Journal. He is also the author of "Considering A PIPE? Companies Must Now Be More Diligent Than Ever When Negotiating," which was published in the Orange County Business Journal.
Mr. Rubenstein is a member of the Bars of the State of California and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of the State of California, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.
