As an Iranian Jew I came to the United States in 1979 when I was only 7 years old fleeing persecution. My parents left everything behind and we had to start anew. My family and I filed for and were granted asylum status giving us an opportunity to stay safely in the United States and obtain all the benefits this country has to offer.
I have dedicated my life to helping others from all walks of life who are fleeing persecution, want a new start in this country, or have come to this land seeking the American dream. During the last decade, I have consistently travelled all over the United States defending people in various immigration courts from deportation and removal, whether in detained or non-detained settings. I have successfully represented thousands of clients legitimatizing their status here. Each time a client is granted relief and is able to stay, the joy I receive is second-to-none.
I have solely practiced U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. During law school I externed for the Honorable Alan M. Ahart, United States District Court, Central District, California.
As a lawyer, I learned that not everybody wins. This is why an attorney, who like myself who knows the law, is attentive to detail, compassionate, and not afraid to vigorously fight on behalf of his clients, helps increase the chances of success. I routinely represent clients in a wide range of complex immigration issues.
