I HAD A THOUGH CASE WITH IMMIGRATION, I WAS EVEN FACING DEPORTATION, MR REZA EXPLAINED WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND TOOK CARE OF MY CASE , THANKS TO REZA AND HIS STAFF THEY GOT MY CASE DISMISSED, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR REZA FOR ALL YOUR IMMIGRATION NEEDS.
My name is Marlon H., I know that I probably took too long to write this review but it's never too late. My wife and I had been desperately been looking for that piece of the American dream that many risk to come and enjoy, and that's to be part of the American life. My wife was by far qualified and I was serving in the world's greatest armed forces; it was a no brainer that it should of been a shoe in. Nonetheless, that was not the case; a couple of immigration lawyers took on our case but the only thing that we gained was the knowledge that we were $1,000 poorer and nothing got done. Then I was referred by a family member who had been helped by Mr. Athari, my wife and I decided to go see him. During the interview, I recall Mr. Athari looking at my wife's file and within 5 minutes he told us what was going to happen and that as long as we proceeded accordingly that my wife would be a permanent resident of the U.S. I was a little bit of concerned because I was getting ready to deploy overseas and the thought of leaving my wife undocumented by herself was going to be a distractor in the field for me.
Graciously, as we were completing all of the requirements, 3 weeks prior to my deployment my wife received her appointment and she passed the interview with flying colors and she finally became part of the American dream she always dreamt of. I was able to deploy with the piece of mind that my wife was going to be ok and so was I. The entire process from beginning to finish took about 6 months. Ironically, shortly after my wife became a U.S. permanent resident, her cousin was in the same exact situation as we were and my wife told her about what she went through with Mr. Athari. The following week my wife's cousin was interviewed by Mr. Athari and to make a long story short, my wife's cousin became a U.S. permanent resident 6 months after her initial interview. Perhaps we got lucky, or perhaps it was destiny; nonetheless, I don't think that there's an immigration lawyer with an impeccable record, and just like anything in life, you win some and you lose some but just because you didn't get the answer you wanted to hear the first time it doesn't mean that particular lawyer is a "show stopper". Move on and keep looking for that answer you want to hear, you'll eventually find it. For us, that's what we did and that's what we got; and now we're back for more as my wife won't stop until she becomes a U.S. citizen.
Again, Mr. Athari is a wonderful lawyer, a true professional and I highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking an opportunity to be part of the American dream.
Highly recommend Reza and his legal services. He is professional with extensive experience and knowledge, straight to the point and does not waste time, if he can help you he will tell you!
Joanna who helped us with the application/paperwork was excellent as well, very professional, thorough and prompt in returning calls/ emails.
I have a PT degree awarded abroad, a BS in Biology awarded in the US, and an MD.
I visited mr Athari to see if he could help me, he asked me some questions and within 3 minutes dismissed my case as non workable.
Mr Athari never even wondered what I had or where I was coming from. I probably have more education than him and was dismissed on the spot, I suspect because i don't look the type. I am Brazilian after all.
I went out the door within 5 minutes of my appointment with him never to come back, of course.
Clearly, I don't recommend this lawyer.
I can assure him, none of his family or loved ones will be dismissed by me and my services the same way he did with me.
Reza Athari has done the impossible for myself. We had a very complicated case a most lawyers promised us the moon and the stars but Mr. Athari was very clear and explained all the options/possibilities. Again he did the impossible and for that I am very thankful.
Wow this is the craziest lawyer ever dealt with. He gives lawyers bad name. Paid him and never heard from him again for months.HE never return my calls not once. I finally asked for refund but he blew up on me and only refund me a very small part of my money enough for a dinner stating that he did work?? I am trying hard to be a Christian and not let evil test my faith.
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FIRM!!!! sTAY AWAY FROM REZA ATHARI.EVERYTHING SEEMS GREAT AT FIRST AND PROFESSIONAL BUT YOU ARE IN FOR A SURPRISE,!!!
I applied in August for my work permit and by the first week of December I had my work permit and was ready to work! He works with you through everything, and everyone at the firm is very helpful and nice. Great experience.
He helped me with my immigration case and Reza did a great job. The only thing I disliked is how him and his front desk clerks told me to take the wrong documents for when I went to go apply for a work permit, etc. Also it was such a hassle trying to find out how much I still owed from the financial/ accounting department. I don't see why I have to wait a week for them to get back to me with my remaining balance.
This man knows what he is doing and did a great job in my case i really recommend him to anyone who needs an immigration lawyer.
I would reccommend Reza Athari, I was entirely satisfied with the office of Reza Athari. I got my citizenship within one and a half years with no problems. His office always kept me aware of what was happening with my case and made sure i was prepared for my citizenship test. They went with me for my citizenship interview and i was pleased with the way his office handled the whole process from start to finish!
