After relocating from Indiana to Arizona, Michelle obtained her Arizona law license in 2006. During that time, she worked as an in-house attorney for technology-focused public and private corporations, where she handled contracts and license negotiations, corporate compliance assessments and managed active litigation.
Since 2006, Michelle's pro bono legal work has included volunteering for Community Legal Services, a non-profit Arizona legal aid service available to income-eligible persons needing help with Consumer Rights, Landlord Tenant, and Probate - Guardianship matters; and the State Bar of Arizona Wills for Heroes law clinics, a free basic estate planning service available to law enforcement, firefighters and other emergency response personnel.
Her community involvement includes the Smith College Alumnae Association - Phoenix Chapter (Secretary-Treasurer, 2008 - present); Arizona Women Lawyers' Association - Maricopa Chapter (Steering Committee, 2010; Sustaining Member 2010 - present) and Phoenix Ivy Council (Board Member, 2010).
Michelle is admitted to the practice of law in Arizona and before the U.S. Federal District Court - District of Arizona and in Indiana (inactive).
