    See an attorney, but the names do not seem confusing to me. So without a non-compete clause, you may not have a remedy.

    Your course of performance - namely, the fact that the relationship has gone on so long since Sept 2014 - should get you past that language. But are you sure this is why you are being evicted? Usually, it's about non-payment of rent.

    To get out of the lease, send a written five day notice demanding repair or you will terminate. Then, you are free of the remainder of the term. And you can sue the landlord for damages. But there is no real legal remedy other than that. Maybe the landlord will switch you to a different unit.

    The only amounts that could be added after judgment are interest, but since you paid in full, that does not apply. None of his demands are legitimate.
