Frankie Adamo's practice focuses on civil trial practice and criminal defense with concentrations in the areas of contract disputes, felonies/misdemeanors, DUI/DWI, real property transactions and disputes, landlord/tenant issues, judgment collections, taxation, and Social Security disability.
In 2004, Mr. Adamo attended Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando where he graduated cum laude. At law school, Mr. Adamo assumed leadership roles such as Director of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program for which he received many awards including Volunteer of the Year. As director of the program, Mr Adamo managed and supervised all aspects of the it including training, volunteers, and operations.
After law school, Frankie began his legal career by helping individuals resolve issues with the IRS as well as helping people accused of committing minor crimes and criminal traffic offenses.
Frankie’s experience in tax is multifaceted and extensive. He has owned and operated a successful tax preparation business since 1995: New-Wave Services. As an attorney, Mr. Adamo represents clients before the IRS and US Tax Court in negotiations, collection due process hearings, and appeals.
Mr. Adamo represents clients who have been accused of committing crimes or criminal traffic violations such as DUI. In Florida, Mr. Adamo defended clients at the public defender’s office in Seminole County, Florida. He is adept in the area of criminal defense and provides zealous representation.
Mr. Adamo has owned and managed several multi-unit rental properties since 1993 in Florida and Arizona. Frankie offers his landlord/tenant and real estate clients the special benefit of having experienced first-hand many of their issues such as tenant eviction, contractors, insurance issues, property tax, government, tax preparation, planning, property management, foreclosures, real estate acquisition, and much more.
As a business owner, Mr. Adamo helps new and existing business owners plan and incorporate. Mr. Adamo is the owner of several businesses and is able to provide the insight and advise new and existing business owners need to efficiently operate a successful and profitable business.
Frankie is admitted to the state bars of Arizona and Florida and is a retired member of the DC bar in Washington, DC. Mr. Adamo is admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the District of Arizona and the US Tax Court.
Frankie is a member of the Solo Practitioners Section with the State Bar of Arizona. He is also chariman of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee at the State Bar of Arizona where he reviews rule modification requests and analyzes potential unauthorized practice activities. The committee drafts recommendations and/or opinions, which they submit to the Supreme Court of Arizona for review and decision. Mr. Adamo recently was part of a subcommittee that was tasked with analyzing a rule change to the in-house counsel section of the Supreme Court Rules of Court.
Mr. Adamo is the principal owner of the Law Office of Frank Adamo. Frankie is also Chief Executive Manager of Mumford Realty Investments, LLC. Mumford is a real estate investment Limited Liability Company that invests in residential and commercial real estate, engages in property management, and provides owner-financing to prospective buyers. Mumford is currently seeking investors.
Mr. Adamo is an advocate of service to the community. Frankie volunteers extensively by providing free legal and tax assistance through programs such as the Volunteer Lawyers Program sponsored by Community Legal Service of Arizona. He also provides volunteer services to Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, the Modest Means Program, Will for Heroes, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program sponsored by the City of Phoenix.
Before becoming an attorney, Frankie worked in the technology field as a computer programmer/analyst and software trainer. As a programmer/analyst, Mr. Adamo has extensive business application experience in the areas of banking, credit card, manufacturing, government, and billing. Further, Mr. Adamo has copious knowledge of computer software and network operations. In addition, Mr. Adamo is highly skilled in computer architecture and design. As a software trainer, Frankie utilized his excellent communication skills and charming personality to transfer the complexities of software operation to a simple and understandable form.
