Brian's comment: Related to back-office problems - annual renewal documents were not forwarded, resulting in administrative suspension. Then there was confusion as to whether or not reinstatement had been completed.... more Related to back-office problems - annual renewal documents were not forwarded, resulting in administrative suspension. Then there was confusion as to whether or not reinstatement had been completed. Result was that I kept representing clients even though suspension (for failure to pay annual bar renewal fee) had not been lifted. I mistakenly thought it had been, and the Bar thought I should have been much more careful not to practice unless certain my annual renewal fee had been received. less
