My career has focused on the Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) matters in business and industry. I provide professional consulting and regulatory representation with regards to these subject matters. I bring 25+ years of professional EHS&S experience from the plant level to the corporate board room in addition to my previous EHS&S law practice. In addition, I have extensive experience in representing my clients and their concerns to government officials at Federal, State and Local levels and in achieving legislative and regulatory outcomes that assist my clients in successfully operating their businesses. I have significant experience in private practice providing counsel to clients in the areas of solid and hazardous waste, air and water issues. I have represented Fortune 500 Corporations in numerous environmental permitting and enforcement matters before federal, state and local agencies. Much of my career has been "in house" in executive management roles related to EHS&S. Other areas in which I have been active include commercial insurance and risk management, real estate and general business matters.
I bring a unique perspective to the EHS&S consulting practice on behalf of my clients having held both EHS&S legal and management positions in global, major US and regional businesses. I have been president of an environmental related business of a major global 500 business and served on the board of directors or another environmental services business.
I have extensive experience in heavy industry, mining and processing as well as agriculture. I have recently retired my law license in Utah and its Federal Courts. I have been licensed in Ohio and am now on inactive status and was previously licensed in Michigan before moving to Utah. I was previoulsy registered as a Lobbyist in Utah.
I am originally from Ohio and have lived mostly in Ohio and Michigan before moving to Utah in 2003.
In addition, I have owned Crimson Desert Realty, LLC a real estate brokerage dealing with "executive" properties and have recently joined Sotheby's Summit as an associate broker.
I have BS and MS degrees in engineering and have recently retired my Registered Professional Engineer status in Ohio. I have held a number of other EHS&S/Insurance professional designations.
I look forward to providing consulting advice to my clients. I now provide no legal services to any of my clients but will consult with licensed counsel.
I endorse Mr. Junia. With dozens of well written and still concise and to the point published answers to questions at Avvo.com and the praise of other attorneys for his knowledge of the law and skill in handling it, it is easy to recommend Mr. Junia to you. He knows the law. Additionally, his AVVO answers show that he likes making sure his clients understand their rights and obligations too. If you have a question about Real Estate, HOAs, or any other matter he feels comfortable accepting in southern Utah, he is your answer. I highly recommend him to you.
