Walter Keane represented himself as an "expert" on landlord representation and made multiple claims about his experience and ability to get tenants evicted quickly and cleanly for a low price.
His "services" ended up costing us thousands in legal fees through the attorney we replaced him with after he filed a "completely defective" Three Day Notice to Quit (our new attorney's words). This started the entire case off on the wrong foot.
To boot, the eviction was based on lease violations and then when he was in court without us ("you don't need to be there") - he independently switched the complaint to non-payment of rent, which further muddied the waters.
Walter Keane is a fraud who should have his license revoked. Beware - I heard he just moved (again) to Nevada. Continuing to evade the discipline that follows him.

AFter getting ripped off by a big firm downtown, Mr. Keane solved it in 2 months time. His fee was as he had estimated and I had no surprises. Have recommended him to friends and heard back good things.

I hired Mr Keane for a foreclosure. He was contacting the wrong bank and when I called him on it, he told me didn't want to work with me anymore but didn't give me back any money.

Penny below must be referring to a different firm. There are no "guys" here, just one Attorney, Mr. Keane. I moved here from NYC 5 years ago and have hired 5 attorneys in my lifetime. The real estate problem I hired Mr. Keane for was solved in record-time and with no surprises. He is very down to earth and explained every step. So far, he is my favorite Attorney I have ever hired. Recommended to me by my cousin who lives here. Mr. Keane is originally from Chicago and has an east-coast work ethic and drive.

He's a fraud stay away!
And very expensive.
If we'd just spent more money on negotiating with the lenders instead of on this guys lawyers fee's we may still have our house.
