When it comes to anything that has to do with divorce or child custody, it is not only extremely stressful but you really need someone to work hard for you and be on your side the whole time. I had high expectations of Brandon because he had very good reviews and an excellent education. Brandon also has a family which I think helps when it comes to these types of cases because it allows you to see that they would take it seriously. Brandon worked extremely hard for me, in the beginning. My case was extremely difficult and I had a lot riding on my attorney. I had been through 2 previous attorneys and had terrible luck getting done what needed to be done. At first, Brandon was attentive, answered my phone calls and emails but unfortunately, as my case progressed and things became more sticky and harder to deal with, it was as if he had completely shut off and put up a wall. I was no longer able to contact him at his office, he wouldn't return my emails or phone calls and worse, even the secretaries would tell me he either wasn't there (every time?!) or that he was too busy to take a call! It became more and more frustrating. When the time came to close the case and finalize things, nothing happened! Unfortunately, I actually had to fire him for not doing anything anymore. More than 5 months had passed and all my requests to go back to court, talk to him or talk to the judge had gone unanswered. It was like I didn't exist. But I was still paying him! I had been through this before. When it comes to your kids, it's very serious and very real. There were times when I felt as if this didn't matter to him because it wasn't his reality, it was mine and in the long run, this didn't affect him. I will say I would recommend him, but only to clients who are able to discuss things amongst their ex-partner. Brandon, unfortunately is not the attorney you want if you have a very frustrating and complicated case.
