I am an associate with Olsen, Skoubye & Nielson, LLC and joined the firm in June 2008. My practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction law, mechanic’s liens, and collections. Prior to joining the firm, I worked in Las Vegas, Nevada where I worked for the law firm of Hutchison & Steffen doing insurance defense and commercial litigation. Just after law school, I worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Kenneth C. Cory of the Clark County Court, Department 1, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah were I studied Political Science and Finance. I graduated magna cum laude from USU in 2003 with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in Finance. I attended Gonzaga University School of Law, where I graduated magna cum laude in 2006. While at Gonzaga I was a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Competition Team, the Moot Court Council, and the Editorial Staff of the Gonzaga Journal of International Law.
I am admitted to practice in both Utah and Nevada. Currently I am a member of the Construction Law Section and Litigation Section of the Utah State Bar.
I grew up in Ogden, Utah, and attended Ogden High School. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family. I also enjoy golf, music and following Gonzaga and USU basketball.
