    I am not sure where you are getting the 140 days from. As long as it is within the Statute of Limitations, the State can charge you at anytime. If you haven't yet been charged, you need to keep in mind that the State may even wait until you are 18 to charge you as an adult. It is imperative that you speak with a qualified attorney to help navigate you through these issues.
