Mark Stinnett defends clients in complex civil litigation and arbitration proceedings involving business tort, medical and professional liability, birth injury and product liability claims. In 33 years of defense practice, he owns an outright winning percentage in trial of better than 95%, and is often retained specifically to serve as trial counsel in catastrophic injury or high damage exposure cases. In addition to multiple defense verdicts in his primary areas of practice outlined above, Mark has obtained favorable jury verdicts for clients in insurance, construction, negligence, contract, and oil and gas litigation, and has defended multi-million dollar employment, probate and trust cases. Mark also serves as an arbitrator. He practices in Colorado and Texas.
Mark is involved locally and nationally as a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. He serves as chairman of the BSA's national Outdoor Progams Committee, with responsibility for standards, promotion, development and literature for Scouting's outdoor programs, including relationships with outdoor industry and organizations, and direction for nine national task forces. He also chairs the Program Task Force of the Philmont Ranch Committee, which provides oversight for Philmont Scout Ranch, the BSA's national high adventure wilderness backpacking base and the largest private camp in the world. In Colorado Springs, Mark serves as outdoor activities coordinator for a Boy Scout troop, advisor to an aerospace explorer post, and as a member of the National Eagle Scout Association committee for the Pikes Peak Council.
