A New York native, Scott moved to Colorado in 2007. While out east, Scott received a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and after settling in Colorado, earned his Juris Doctorate in 2010 from the Denver University Sturm College of Law.
While in New York, Scott worked for the “Pace Women’s Justice Center,” assisting victims of domestic violence to find safety from their abusers and ensure future protection for the victims and their families.
Later, Scott worked with “Schwartz, Goldstone, & Campisi,” a personal injury firm in New York. The New York Jets were also on Scott’s list of employers, as he worked for them off and on for over four years.
After moving to Colorado, Scott found similar niches by working with the “Bringing Justice Home Project,” an organization that provides legal aid to indigent domestic violence victims in Fort Collins, CO; “Bovo Law,” a personal injury law firm in Glendale, CO; and “KO Sports, Inc.,” a hockey agency in Glendale, CO. In addition, he has clerked for two District Court judges located in Arapahoe and Jefferson counties, has conducted mediations as far south as Denver and north as Fort Collins, and most recently, worked at Omni Financial representing clients with tax problems with the IRS and/or particular states.
