I had a very difficult criminal case and situation. The court appointed Kristy Martinez to my case and I was initially very unsure. Along the way, I found her to be extremely compassionate, reassuring, and understanding. She took the time to explain things to me and helped me know what to expect and how to get through it all. She is one of the few that has been in this field for years, and still deeply cares about her clients. She takes her role of defending her client's rights very seriously, and yet has a great skill for helping make tough situations a little easier to endure. She even helped me smile through some of the hardest times. I was consistently impressed and amazed. She worked very hard on my case. The outcome was better than I ever hoped for. When there was a mix up at the jail about my release, she worked hard and tracked down a judge at night who straightened it all out. That is just one of many examples of how she went above and beyond what most attorneys would do. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone needing compassionate and aggressive defense attorney. I will always be very grateful for how hard she fought for me.

I would like to let anyone know who is in need of legal assistance the experience I had with Kristy Martinez. Ms. Martinez took my case when alternate defense was required as my co-defendant was represented by the Public Defender’s office. I was very scared as the cases I had been charged with were two felonies and had the potential for serious consequences.
Kristy Martinez came to see me at the Jail and she did so at 9:30PM after a long day for her. She still spent an hour with me mostly comforting me that things would be OK. She got right to work on my case and although she was paid but a fraction of her legal services by the State/County you would have never known it.
Kristy was professional, hardworking, and never left me wondering what was happening on my case. Even though I was still in Jail she made sure I knew what was happening each step of the way. The results were more than I could have hoped for! I was adjudicated of a (1) Misdemeanor and sentenced to only time served and no probation. In addition, I found myself in a difficult situation after my release as I had lost my place to live. Ms. Martinez wasted no time in picking up the phone and contacting a Gentleman that runs a program for Homeless people to get on their feet.
I was accepted into this program on the spot and I will never forget the Blessing that Kristy was to me at a scary and challenging time of my life. In short, Kristy not only resolved my case but also helped to get me on my feet afterward! I’m still doing well, i'm still Sober, and i'm back on track. I don't know what I would have done without her!
I can only say that if you hire Kristy Allyne Martinez for representation you are making a great decision!

I am writing this to share with you my experience with Kristy Martinez .
The first part of October my 19 year old Special needs son was incarerated At BCJ.
Due to a conflict of intrest and an answer to my prayers we were lucky enough to have Kristy appointed to my sons case.
From Day one Kristys expertise and professionalism along with straight answers that I could understand and her genuine concern to make sure i did understand what was happening put my mind at ease.
What a difference than dealing with Public defenders the past 13 years who i am still waiting for return phone calls from, and never knowing what was happening untill the day it happened.
We were given a true Gift.
Not ever in 5 months did a phone call go unanswered, and between myself and and my son there were MANY!
And NEVER did I feel like a bother or that my questions were not important.
Kristy spent many hours on my sons case and the day before his release from Canon City with a predicted blizzard and road closures Kristy dropped everything else she was doing and did everything in her power to get my son an early release.
It did not happen but not Because of Kristy It was because of flaws in the system.
My son was released in the middle of a blizzard with no cash no coat and no ID and to say i was a wreck is an understatement, but it would have been worse if not for Kristy being by my side the entire way,I think she was as worried as I was.
True dedication and genuine caring are the words to describe Kristy.
My son is home now and doing better than he has in 9 years and he and I both know that without Kristy the outcome of this would have been much different, much worse.
We both owe her more thanks than is we can express and will ALWAYS be gratefull.
