Floy grew up in Coburg, Germany, and graduated from the highest level of the Bavarian three-tiered school system (she holds an Abitur from a Humanistic Gymnasium). She is fluent in German and English. She received a law degree from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is published in the University of Denver Journal of International Law and Policy.
Floy brings nearly 20 years of legal experience to the firm. She served as corporate and regulatory counsel, government affairs manager, and asset recovery officer in the commercial banking, telecommunications, and equipment leasing industries. Floy also worked in private practice representing creditors, handled alternative defense counsel appeals, and now focuses primarily on consumer bankruptcy representation.
