Best decision I could have made

Gary should be your first choice when dealing with a DUI case. From the beginning, he was helpful and very knowledgable, and I could tell he would do his best to help me. He was also kind enough to let me present him with a lot of information regarding my case before I had even paid him a single cent. Most of the lawyers I ran across required thousands of dollars up front with little to no guarantee that they could help me. One lawyer had me convinced that there was nothing that could be done, and it was likely I would be going to jail, and he still wanted me to pay him?!

I would say that this was money well spent, considering how much this case could have ruined my life. I am very sorry for my late response, but as I sit here now a year later, I realize how much worse things could have been for me without his help. I was able to carry on with my life, and it gave me a new appreciation for what I would like to do in this world. I'm currently in Paris and enjoying my travels, but it dawned on me that a year ago, there was no certainty. I was looking at jail time (minimum 15 days and up to 1 year!) and not to mention all of the hoops the law requires you to jump through. I could have fought my case further, but all things considered, an 8 point Reckless Driving ticket was MORE than appreciated.

I can not thank Gary enough for his services. He is truly a professional, and I honestly owe him my freedom (which I am currently enjoying). You will NOT regret your choice to hire Gary, I can guarantee you :) Thank you so much, Gary!!

    Honest advice during consultation

I am from out of state and I emailed Gary about a speeding ticket I got in Colorado. He replied back right away and gave me some information and advice on what to do. I didn't even need to hire a lawyer!

I highly recommend for DUI defense

I would have spent 10 days in jail on a first offense if I had not had Mr. Pirosko with me. I ended up with one year of probation and 48 hrs community service. If you have been charged with DUI in the Denver area you should call Gary Pirosko immediately! He offered me a free consultation and clearly described what I was facing and how I should proceed. He did not pressure me into hiring him, however I am extremely relieved that I did. This is definitely the attorney you want by your side if find yourself in my situation

Brow beat into settling without looking into my case

Do not recommend this attorne!!!!y I was in a rush to find council. Called gary numerous times and he diddle around untill the last minute. Flustered and panicked I signed an agreement the day before my case was in court. he went in with little to no knowledge about my case and instead of asking for a continuance to understand and develope a defence he convinced me It was my only and best option. The only thing he did was plea bargain points off my licence. Not consistent. Keep looking I assure you their are better attorneys that will actually work for the thousands charged

Gary F Pirosko’s response: “This client was arrested on May 2, 2015. She waited until May 18th to contact me. I asked her to send me the reports and she held them until May 27th, 25 days after her arrest and 4 days before court. Had she contacted me earlier she could have gotten me the reports earlier. Her rush to find counsel was based on her 16-day delay in contacting an attorney. I did not high pressure her (or anyone else) into hiring me. As you can read in all of my other reviews my history is to do just the opposite, to tell people they don’t need an attorney when that is justified. I was not her only option and I reduced my normal by two thirds, without her asking, based on several factors. The fee agreement which she signed states, "Per our conversation on June 20, 2015, you understand and agree that you are hiring me to negotiate with the District Attorney and the Court in trying to get the best possible outcome at sentencing. You agreed that a trial based on the particular facts in your case would not be cost beneficial in that a conviction to an alcohol-related charge is likely." She had the option to go to trial, but she decided not take it. She didn't mention any displeasure to me before she signed the sentencing documents. At sentencing the Judge asked whether she had sufficient time to talk to her attorney and whether she was satisfied with my advice. She did not indicate any displeasure to either the Judge or myself. The Judge also asked if anyone made any promises to her or whether she felt pressure to accept the deal. Again, she did not indicate anything improper. My phone logs and email show the number of times I tried to contact her, rarely receiving a response. The police report indicates she was traveling 47 MPH in a 30 MPH zone, nearly twice the speed limit in an urban area. She had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and she had 2 vodka shooters in her car, one which was empty. She admitted to drinking at the bar even though she had the right to remain silent. She also had several containers of marijuana and a pipe. Her speech was slurred; she was swaying; she had bloodshot, watery and droopy eyes; she was staggering and stumbling; she failed all of the roadside tests, which were voluntary, so she could have declined to take them; she answered questions at the station even after being advised she didn't have to speak to the police. She provided the police with all of the evidence they needed to charge her and all the evidence the DA needed to get a conviction. She took a breath test which revealed a .106 BrAC, more than twice the legal limit. The police therefore didn't bother following up with drug testing. She started off with 5 charges. On short notice with a difficult client I got the DA to drop 4 charges and reduce the DUI to a lesser charge of Driving While Ability Impaired. She ended up pleading to one reduced charge so it wasn't just points being reduced. I suggested that she run these facts by any other attorney she wants to see if they believe the plea bargain was justified. She hasn't disclosed that ANY other attorney said this outcome was not justified. No amount of continuances would have changed the outcome of the situation she put herself in. That would only have been her further procrastination for no purpose.”

Advice on excessive speeding ticket charge 18 mph over 65 mph on I70

I emailed Gary and he got back to me right away with a no nonsense response which was what I was looking for. I always just pay tickets when I get them but when Officer Smith, badge 7983 in Golden claimed he lazered me at this speed I knew either he was lying or clocked the wrong car since I was driving the speed limit actually looking for him as I saw him when I was going the other way - West, and saw him from on top of a hill more than .5 away at the bottom of that hill with 2 lanes between us and 3 cars in his line of sight path. So its hard to accept to just pay it as I couldnt believe it when he got on the road and pulled me over 5 minutes later (so bizarre), and never showed me his radar gun, but I wanted to at least get an experts advice of chances of plea bargaining and overall value to attempt to do so. He gave me the right advice saving me more problems and headaches and allowing me to quickly get back to my vacation. Thanks again!

    Best Decision I have made

Hiring Gary was the best decision that I could have made in such a critical juncture. When I received my DUI I immediately began looking for someone to help. I took to the Lawyer Sites, and pulled the top results from the different sites and called them. I fortunately spoke to Gary first as he was across the board overwhelmingly recommended. We spoke and I told him my case, the first thing that he told me was "You are going to be fine, this isn't the end of the world. No matter what happens you'll get through this." Spoken like someone who has been helping people like me out for years. He understood what I was going through and it calmed my nerves and I didn't feel like I had thrown my life away with this one mistake any more. He also said not to hire any lawyer that demanded that I hire them on the spot, that there was time to analyze and make a good decision. He informed me of the strength of the other lawyers that I was going to speak with, and he built trust from the very beginning. He told me the reality, no lying, that I was looking at this sentence and this punishment and we would work to reduce each all the while informing me of how likely each was to actually have a chance to reduce. He told me to start doing the classes and everything for punishment, and it was great advice, I have been way ahead of everybody else with getting this part of my life put in the past.
Now here is the impressive part; in the court room he may be the most prepared person that I have ever met. He knows the ins and outs of all the past rulings and laws, even down to the obscure and minute. He has experience seemingly across all areas of this incident; from law enforcement to DA to defending, and it shows. Every time that we went in the court room, he was so well informed that other lawyers were impressed with him. Each time we left the court room to conference, another lawyer (young and fresh or seasoned and experienced) complimented him on his arguments and strategy; and on more than one occasion was told that they were so impressed that they took notes and would implement some of the arguments into their own defenses.

Ultimately from start to finish Gary was trustworthy, honest, and effective in helping me through this in every way possible. It is because of him that my most embarrassing mistake that I have made, is only a speed bump in my life and not a roadblock. I know that if it weren't for hiring the best attorney in the field, I wouldn't be where I am today. Getting a DUI was terrible, but as he told me, my life was and is not over, I got through it, even his beginning assurance to me was honest.

I cannot recommend Gary enough, he understands that it is a mistake and he is there to help.

    Gave it to me straight

First DUI, miserable experience. At no charge, Gary took a look at all the Discovery paperwork and helped me understand the best course of action, which aligned with what I've been learning through friends and other lawyers. In the end, that led me to not hiring him (also part of his recommendation - how often does that happen?). I appreciated the candor and lack of pressure to enlist his services for the wrong reasons.

    Gary gets it done

I had an issue with an old warrant issued for my arrest due to a failure to appear. Since I no longer live in Colorado I had to shop for a lawyer using the internet. His profile came with a lot of good reviews so I took a chance and it was worth it. Gary was able to get two charges dismissed and got the fine for the third reduced by half. Everybody situation is different, but I believe you can count of Gary to get the job done.

Super fast response, told me I didn't need him!

Gary personally responded within an hour and ended up advising me that I could successfully represent myself. I appreciated his quick and frank assessment and how he did not try to pressure me into using a lawyer. I saved lots of money through his advice and highly recommend him!

    very helpful in my situation

I spoke with Gary on a speeding ticket issue, where the speed limit was incorrectly listed on my ticket. He advised that they would probably just amend the ticket to reflect the correct speed limit and it would not change the number of points, so saved me a tremendous amount of money by not trying to get a different outcome. I would recommend this attorney.
