Karen has been a practicing attorney in Denver, Colorado for over twenty years, enjoys trusted relationships with her clients and becomes an integral part of their team. The firm was formed out of Karen’s desire to serve her clients in a manner tailored to their individual needs and situations, an art not developed at many law firms. She understands that it is critical to understand each client's individual goals and needs, and strives to provide them with information and strategies so that together they can develop a plan to move forward and achieve success.
Karen successfully served as Attorney General with the Colorado Department of Law, adjunct professor at the Colorado School of Mines, regulatory consultant, counsel for a federal agency, corporate general counsel and executive, and as a private attorney. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in geology at The Pennsylvania State University, and her Juris Doctor at the University of Denver College of Law, where she was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Remedies and was appointed Assistant to the Dean.
She is active in the Colorado Bar Association, serves on the Council of its Solo and Small Firm Section and is a member of its Business Law, Trusts and Estates, and Criminal Law Sections. Karen enjoys volunteering time with organizations including National Mill Dog Rescue.
Kishbaugh Law Firm, LLC provides personalized and tailored legal services in the areas of business planning; business startup, all of the services that a business will need throughout its life; franchising; estate planning for individuals, traditional couples, non-traditional couples, and business owners; and defense of those charged with DUI or DWAI. Its offices are conveniently located in central Denver, close to the Cherry Creek, Congress Park, City Park and Capital Hill neighborhoods.
Cash, Check, Credit Card
I whole heartedly endorse this lawyer. Karen is very thorough and organized and is not afraid to ask the questions that need to be asked. She is a pleasure to work with on Colorado Bar projects and I look forward to working with her in the future.
