I was very overwhelmed with my situation. I paid a reasonable amount of money to get legal advice that could help my situation. The advice was helpful as such as gathering and connecting the paperwork so there was no gaps with information to be given to better the odds in the case. What I was unsure of was the mediation part, which I settled but unsure if that was the right move to take. I will say there was a bunch of info to go over in a limited amount of time. So I would suggest if you use this service to be prepared to take everything said as notes. And have as much proof towards your case as you can on hand.

I was truly in a bad situation with not a lot of money to find a solution with. April and Floyd Jones helped me understand my rights as a tenant and fight for what I deserved. Ms. April was professional, understanding and extremely knowledgable! I could not have asked for a better experience with a fair price and an amazing outcome.

I would absolutely recommend April L. Jones to anyone. It is very hard to find attorneys that work on the tenants' side. She is extremely knowledgeable and competent and her assistant Floyd is wonderful to deal with. Their assistance gave us the confidence to fight a wrongful eviction and we won! They provide a much-needed and extremely valuable service to anyone facing wrongful eviction or a bad landlord.

Came to this law firm with issues surrounding an eviction. After sitting sitting down with Ms. Jones and going over all of my documentation she gave me the tips I needed to get a trial. I would definitely recommend this law firm to anyone dealing with landlord tenant issues!

I called many attorney's before I found someone that actually seemed to care that I was being thrown out in the streets illegally. I worked a lot with Floyd who walked me through in great detail all of my options. I didn't have any knowledge of the eviction process or the damage it was going to do to my record. He was very caring to my circumstance and gave me confidence to fight for my tenant rights. I met with April for a consultation and she was excellent at helping me with the process and a step by step plan of action. I would absolutely recommend them, if you are in need of someone to walk step by step with you and actually care about you these guys rock. Thanks again guys you are a life saver!

I didn't expect to be so well taken care of after just one submission online asking for help. I was sent forms to use and was kept in contact with every day. This was better than what I was expecting. Would recommend time and time again to anyone seeking help.

April L. Jones was excellent. It's very difficult to find a tenant's rights lawyer. She gave us the knowledge and facts that we needed to proceed forward with our wrongful eviction case. She's compassionate, understanding and very knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone who is being faced with a wrongful eviction or whose landlord owes them monetary compensation.

I have been a victim of a very bad management company now since December 2014. The property has had 4 code violations in the 8 months I have lived there, all of which I reported to the proper government agencies. In the 7 months I lived at this property I had never paid rent late, except once when my payroll deposit went in a day late. The property came after me for over $600 in late fees. When I tried to reason with them without success I refused to pay, refused to be extorted for $600. They started the eviction process. I have rented in NY, Texas, Georgia and Colorado and I have never seen a predatory rental market like the one here in Denver. I was appalled by this idea that eviction law firms exist to get people out in 7 days, appalled that renters are so under represented in the state of CO and treated like cash cows if they ever pay anything late. I called a lot of lawyers looking for help, all who wanted me to sign a contract and pay a minimum of $750 to take my case. I had done a lot of research on the laws and the eviction process and this was when I decided that April's service made the most sense. She gave me the worst case scenario of what was to come in court and the advice she gave was hard to hear but I followed her advice and it has helped me immensely. I have made it through phase one of my trial against some very bad property managers where the judge ruled in my favor. If you know the law, if you have documented everything that felt wrong, if you ever feel your landlord is treating you like less than human, forcing you to deal with uninhabitable conditions and not maintaining the property, record all of it, get correspondence in writing and report them. Then go see April and sue them. Do not settle for the low standards of some slumlord and never fear their lowlife lawyers. YOU can fight them with the help of April.

Firstly, I was initially greeted by, Floyd, who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Floyd was also especially empathetic and calmed us down, as we were in an emergency situation with the landlord and were panicking. He set my mind at ease and gave us hope when there seemed to be none.
We were then introduced to April, the attorney who offered us extremely extensive and cost effective advice. She didn't actually represent us, but the information she provided was so helpful, she may as well have. April was so amazing that we will be hiring her for an up and coming case related to this one.
Overall, I would honestly have to recommend Floyd and April to anyone who desires to have equality for all. Floyd and April are true representations of the honesty, compassion and courage that it takes to make the desperate, vital changes we are all aware that need to take place for living in harmony with one another again.
