    I agree with the person who answered above. Make sure your lease/agreement is clearly written. Remember it was his choice to leave.

  • Guardianship or Custody??

    We need to have legal papers stating that we are the only ones who can make decisions for our grandaughter and that we are responsible for her care. Her mother will still live here, still be "mommy", but not be able to make decisions for the child...

    The general answer to your question is you need to file for custody. This will take some time and there are emergency procedures you can do to try and expedite this process.

  • Can an employer charge and employee w/ theft for lying about jury duty?

    Recently, my employer discovered that I did not have jury duty for as long as I claimed. I am concerned that they will charge me for employee theft due to wages, etc. but I cannot find any past cases like this or laws relating to this specifically...

    I agree with what has been posted. The employer could certainly call law enforcement and let them know about this issue. Additionally, the employer could demand the pay that was given to the employee back and certainly fire the employee for theft.
