Christopher David Wanner

also known as Chris, Wanner

About me

Chris Wanner is a three time graduate of Texas Tech University.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2008, a Master’s in Business Administration in 2011, and a Doctorate’s in Jurisprudence in 2011.  Chris has been licensed to practice in all the courts of the State of Texas since 2012.  While attending Texas Tech School of Law, Chris was awarded the coveted Excellence for the Future Award, only given to the students with the highest grade in their class.  After a 9 month externship for the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, Chris formed The Wanner Law Firm to serve citizens of Lubbock and surrounding counties.  Chris has represented clients as far away as Houston, Texas and in many different areas of the law, including family, probate, contract, commercial, and construction just to name a few.

Chris attends multiple educational seminars annually and was recently recognized by the College of the State Bar of Texas for attending at least double the required continuing education credits required by the State Bar.  In actuality, Chris has earned over 200 hours of continuing education credits since January of 2014.  Most recently, Chris was chosen as one of only 80 attorneys in Texas to attend the Texas Criminal Trial College in Huntsville.  While there Chris learned and demonstrated the latest trial techniques at the weeklong seminar.

When Chris is not working hard for his clients or attending seminars across the state of Texas, he enjoys spending time with his Family, reading books, and restoring/customizing classic cars.
