His academic work ranged from intellectual property and copyright issues around the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to the limits of executive privilege in the War on Terror. He holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Washington in Seattle, where he earned national recognition from the Society of Professional Journalists as an opinion writer and was recognized as a Leader of the Student Press by the Associated College Press for his work as Editor-in-Chief of The University of Washington’s student newspaper, The Daily.
In his spare time, Mr. Charnitski enjoys playing guitar, running, rooting for the Washington Huskies, and attempting to tame his back yard with his wife.
