In regards to my past experiences with lawyers (and the judicial system more generally), I have not met anyone as capable, honest, and personally engaged as Chip. I felt confident (and feel confident re-iterating) that Chip had only my interests in mind, irrespective of specific sorts of gains and/or advantages that may have worked out better on his end (especially in regards to issues around money).
In all, Chip is outstanding, whether in regards to hi profession or his personhood, and that shines through in the interactions and work he does and does with you.

I was injured by a drunk driver, and after I struggled to deal with insurance myself, my employer's attorney referral service sent me to Chip. I wish I had talked to him sooner - I would've saved myself a lot of stress! He took care of everything from that point, and got me a better settlement than I expected.

In September 2014, I was in an auto accident where someone struck the back of my vehicle as I was stopped on an exit ramp. It caused my vehicle to spin counter clockwise, strike the back of the vehicle in front of me, and hit the guardrail of the ramp. My vehicle was totaled, and I was taken to the emergency room due to pain in my back, shoulder, and neck. I also had multiple bruises across my body.
The next several months were difficult for me. I had to visit the hospital several times, as the accident caused me to have a collapsed lung. I also had to receive therapy for my back and shoulder. I attempted to contact the Auto Insurance company of the person who struck me, and settle the hospital bills, etc. on my own. But this was a frustrating process - I was transferred to different representatives with each call, and was informed they couldn't guarantee all expenses would be covered.
I then made the decision to reach out to Chip Evans, an attorney I was referred to by the employee assistance program at my place of work. Chip was very helpful and patient with all of my questions, as I wasn't familiar with the entire process. Over the next few months, I was able to let Chip take complete control of my case - he obtained all hospital and doctor bills, remained in contact with the Auto Insurance Company, and always kept me informed. I didn't have to lift a finger - the only thing I had to focus on was my shoulder and back therapy.
In March 2015, I received a Settlement check in the mail from Chip. The amount listed gave me great relief - it not only covered the costs of my hospital and doctor bills, but it also gave me more than enough to cover a down payment for a brand new vehicle.
While it may sound cheesy, my accident was a tragic experience that caused a great amount of stress, frustration, and difficulty in my life for several months. Chip played a huge part in it, carrying the majority of the weight for me.
I know I wouldn’t have received a settlement amount half as much as what Chip was able to get had I attempted to complete this on my own. I honestly *hope* there won’t be a need for me to reach out to Chip again in the future, but I definitely won't hesitate to if necessary.
Thanks again, Chip. I can't thank you enough.

My elderly father was knocked over by a negligent employee while shopping at a "large corporation" and as a result, broke his hip. We interviewed a couple lawyers while still at the hospital and did not receive the proper attention deserved. Actually, assistants to the lawyers assistants showed up so we never met face to face. Chip was recommended by another lawyer that had a conflict of interest in the case. Chip showed up on a Sunday while canceling a sporting event. Took the time to hear my dad through and accepted the case. During the entire process he kept us well informed and kept his commitment. Compared to the other firms, Chip committed about $50k more and in the end, my dad received $50k more (take home, after expenses) than what he would have received with the other lawyers. His experience with medicare along with his knowledge and relationships was key in getting that additional push for higher settlement. I highly recommend his services.

Chip was very helpful from the beginning all the way to the end of my accident settlement. He was not pushy but very informative when I began talking to him to find out if I even needed an attorney after my wreck. He was recommended through the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) from my employer. Chip was not like other attorneys that were very much "lawyerish" and pushy when it came to their suggestions of what I should do. I was able to reach him anytime I had a question and he kept me informed throughout the entire process.

Chip Evans is the easiest, most communicative, action oriented lawyer in the Austin area. Chip made it extremely easy to reach him, even when on vacation. His professionalism, down to earth non legalese personality was beyond what we could ask for in an attorney. When other attorneys said "NO" Chip said "LET'S GO!" Chip represented our son, and the case was by no means a slam dunk. While Chip was officially only representing my son, he made it feel like he was representing our entire family. We are extremely appreciative for Chip's knowledge, confidence and diligent work in getting the job done!

The first thing that impressed me about Chip was that he was actually on vacation and called me back the same day that I called and talked to his assistant to discuss my case! This case involved both my daughter and myself and we were hurt, scared, unsure, and lost. He immediately made us feel safe and protected through his confidence. He stayed on task and consistently pushed through the case. He also helped keep us focused, understood our confusing times and talked us through everything.
I am not sure exactly of all of the legal documents and request that he did but probably the best thing I can say to to sum up Chip and the whole experience was that when everything was done and settled that even the opposing attorneys came over and shook our hands and told us more than once what a sharp lawyer we had, we were very lucky to have found him!

We couldn't have asked for a better lawyer to represent us!!! My family and I were involved in a MVA involving a drunk driver. Chip was referred to us from a lawyer in our hometown and it was the best course of action we could have taken!!! My Mother and I spent a great deal of time in the hospital due to injuries incurred from the accident so my Aunt was the one that was bombarded w/paperwork involving the accident. She is a very intelligent person but this was definitely out of her element. She went to our local lawyer and he referred us to Chip. Chip was awesome from the start!!! He was very compassionate and understanding of our situation. He worked diligently on our case especially my portion which involved a company that I was working for that was completely the opposite of Chip. They wanted to take all of my portion of my settlement due to the amount of medical expenses incurred by my health insurance as well as my short term and long term disability payout. Chip responded as if I were a family member and took it very personal and fought tooth and nail to save me at least a portion of the settlement to survive on since this accident left me disabled for life. By no means was it or is it enough to live on but I truely believe Chip worked in my best interest and did the absoloute best he could possibly do!!! I would most definitely refer Chip to anyone needing a lawyer and would use him again if the need ever arose. As a matter of fact he is at this time working on trying to reinstate my long term disability. I have all the faith in the world in Chip. You will not go wrong hiring Chip as your lawyer!!!

Chip Evans was always up front and honest every step of the way. My back injury will always be with me regardless, but at least I was able to pay all bills from providers as well as some left over for pain and suffering. Chip has character and treats you like you are his only client!

I had worked with Mr. Evans for over two years on a personal injury case. I received a recommendation for him through my employer's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which provided excellent references initially. Based on my need, his experience, and licensing/certifications within the State of Texas, I would highly recommend the services of Mr. Evans. He is straightofroward, responsive, and available. He and his office have a depth of knowledge and "reach back" in this field that provided superior performance. I highly recommend his services.
