I began practicing law in 1995, after I graduated from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University as a member of the Woolsack Honor Society.
I practiced as a U.S. Marine judge advocate until I left active service as a Major in 1998.
I then began representing people injured through the neglect of others. I am licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, Virginia and Pennsylvania, and practice all over the country, helping victims of medical neglect and other negligence.
I have developed a niche in birth injury litigation, and in sexual abuse cases. I also represent numerous other personal injury and wrongful death victims, including catastrophic 18-wheeler collisions.
I am a 2009 graduate of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyers' College in Dubois, Wyoming, and utilize the techniques learned there wherever I can. I completely dedicate myself to the healing of my clients, and work hard to get them significant recoveries.
I am a member of both the Million-Dollar and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocate's Club, and have been elected as a Texas Super Lawyer in 2011 and 2012. In 2012, the National Trial Lawyers' Association named me to their Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the Nation, and in 2013, I was rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbel's lawyer rating service - the highest ranking that Martindale-Hubbel bestows.
I recently joined The Carlson Law Firm, and am privileged to work with a great group of professional trial lawyers.
