Tim Weitz was my lawyer in an issue dealing with the Texas Medical Board. He did a great job explaining the entire process to me step by step. I felt completely confident in his abilities and knew that I was in the best hands. My case ended up getting to him a bit late, but he put everything we needed together in a short period of time. He is very professional and great with communication. I would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with any medical legal issues. If I ever have any issues in the future, I will definitely be going back to him!
Amazing!! I would recommend Mr. Weitz to anyone who has an investigation or issue dealing with the BON. He made sure I knew where my case could end up and was honest and upfront about everything. When I was worried about my nursing career coming to an end he made sure I knew he was there to do the worrying for me. He is very quick in responding to emails and does not mind actually speaking with you on the phone. HIGHLY RECOMMENED MR.WEITZ!!
I had Mr Weitz for healthcare employment law in college. He is easily one of the best professors I had during my time at Texas State. When I started my first job in human resources at a nursing home I used the knowledge I learned in his class every single day. After graduation, I contacted Mr Weitz for some legal advice, he responded very quickly with the information I needed to know. I recommend Mr Weitz if you are in need of legal services, especially relating to healthcare.
I received Tim's legal help on two separate matters. I was impressed at how thorough and prepared he was with every tiny detail. Every outcome was favorable. I appreciated his honesty and feel that he is a man and lawyer of the highest caliber. Integrity seems to be a waning quality for many but Tim is more than a cut above. I would recommend Tim without reservation.
Tim draws on long experience with the TMB, with professionals facing a range of issues and can cut right to what is important, what is needed, what isn't to worry about. He asks the right questions, listens well, gives concrete advice. He was invaluable to me in navigating an area I knew nothing about and was unnecessarily afraid of. I met with him once, had a couple of follow-up phone calls and felt he was easily available and wanting to help. I never felt rushed, brushed off or nickel & dimed.
I have used Mr. Weitz's legal services on two occasions. The quality and specificity of his advice is outstanding. What places his service to a level beyond what I suspect most clients would expect is that he truly gave not just advice, but counsel. As much as we as a society complain about attorney fees, I must admit that true counsel with excellent legal advice is very close to priceless.
His experience with and knowledge of the BON and TMB bureaucracies and his ability to navigate them is impeccable. Quickly responds to any and all questions and correspondence. Displays both compassion and strength. Tells you the straight truth regarding outcomes and what to expect so you can make informed decisions on these very important and life consuming events. Hope I never need him again but have the assurance that if ever needed he will provide the same high quality legal experience and representation. Definitely a 5 star Attorney if there ever was one.
Mr. Weitz's experience and knowledge in dealing with the Medical board were invaluable. His
familiarity of the Board proceedings as well as the members involved in my case provided
me with the confidence and information needed during the informal hearing. He is a skilled, articulate communicator who assisted with editing and formulating necessary correspondence, hand
delivered documents to the Board in a timely manner, and effectively argued my case with their
legal counsel - all of which resulted in the best possible outcome. Highly recommend Mr. Weitz to any health professional
who undergoes a medical board investigation.
Mr. Tim Weitz is an all star. He helped me navigate through the legal process at Texas Medical Board with ease. If you are lucky enough for him to take your case, you enter legal proceedings that much more prepared. He has the respect of opposing counsel, cross examiners, and even the gentleman at the entrance of the building handing out badges. He has such intensity and passion that at times, I was happy that he was on my side and not the other way around. If you have a breather, ask him about the "real lieutenant" in the movie "A Few Good Men". He knows him personally. He is the kind of lawyer that other lawyers ask advice from. He is simply the best out there......
Tim Weitz is a really good lawyer and exactly what I needed when I was trying to get my PIT. The TMB can make you feel really intimidated but Mr. Weitz helped me prepare for the hearing and maintain a positive attitude. Since he worked on the other side of the table for a number of years and knows all of the players he helped me anticipate what they were going to ask and was spot-on with the areas of my application the board was going to be most concerned with. After our victory he didn't wash his hands and pack up for the day. He stuck by me and advocated on my behalf until the license was in the hands of my program director. I later learned first hand the respect for him in the community by the actions of the staff willing to work with us on short notice. I kept his card for all of my colleagues and will recommend him to anyone who feels like their careers are over.
