I am a Swiss Citizen who came to the US as an exchange student with a J-1 visa. After spending a semester at UT in Austin, I was able to extend my experience in the US engaging in Academic Training under the same visa. I consulted various attorneys in Austin, TX during the grace period my visa was to expire and stated my urge to stay in the US for a while longer.
After seeing some of the attorneys I was recommended by the school, I was getting frustrated with how they conducted business. None of them were able to advise me on my questions and simply put me off although I had to pay them a consultation fee. Thinking that my case is fairly straight forward, I was getting annoyed as these attorneys were supposed to be top-notch attorneys in Austin, TX.
I then conducted my own research and stumbled upon the office of Mr. Trevena and scheduled a visit with him.
To my absolute surprise, the meeting with Mr. Trevena was very professional where he was able to tell me all the different options I had given my situation with the risks and uncertainties associated with each one of them. We then agreed on pursuing the path where I would change my nonimmigrant status. About 4 months later, I received a letter from the DHS stating that I was granted my request.
Mr. Trevena has an excellent understanding of the immigration law. His service not only was professional but also conducted in a rapid and efficient manner. I would choose him as my attorney without any doubt if I had any questions regarding immigration in the future.
I needed some help with immigration issues and Mr. Trevena's expertise in the area far exceeded my expectations. He thoroughly knew INS procedures and was even familiar with an agent I had worked with many years ago in San Antonio--impressive! Mr. Trevena is an excellent, very professional, diligent immigration attorney, and he is Board Certified. If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable attorney who will devote his time and energy to your case, look no further than the office of Mr. Trevena.

I have used Matt Trevena for a phone consultation on some green card renewal questions. Matt was extremely knowledgeable, very professional, personable and gave me clear and honest advice. Over the last several years I have retained and consulted with Matt Trevena on several immigration matters on behalf of household staff and friends. In all such cases I have found his services to be exemplary. His knowledge of immigration law is obviously comprehensive and up to date. He exhibits a very compassionate understanding of his clients needs and concerns and represents and advises them accordingly with successful results. The reasonable cost for his services are a great value. I highly recommend Matt Trevena as your first choice attorney for all immigration matters.
Matt and Aislinn helped my wife to obtain accelerated naturalization because we were relocating overseas and wanted to travel as a family of Americans, not a family with a variety of passports. They made something happen that we didn't think was possible, and they did it with professionalism and a a true caring for our family and our unique situation. Also the price was fair and reasonable.
It is my pleasure to recommend Matt Trevena's law firm. My overall experience was positive. The personnel was very professional and responsive. I received the most respectful and efficient response from them. My case got approved fast and we did not have any problems communicating with him since all staff members are perfectly bilingual. I loved working with them.
Thank you Matt Trevena's Law Firm.
My sister & brother in-law wanted to help me become a permanent resident of the U.S. I was from Scotland and my case was not like any other. It was going to be hard. My brother and sister wanted to retain a lawyer to help us and found the law office of Matt Trevena in Austin. Sat down with him and found him to be friendly while we disclosed everything. Walked us through step-by-step and what we need to obtain. The paperwork (the hard stuff) was done by Mr. Trevena’s office. Not once were we left in the dark. The paralegals are so friendly and professional. My wife has renal failure and I suffer with anxiety. Mr. Trevena kept as calm and cared. We had a big problem that could have ended it all for us. Mr. Trevena with his professional and highly skilled mind and team were able to solve it. The big day came for the interview and he was by our side. My wife and I were nervous. Mr. Trevena explained our circumstances to the officer while we answered and disclosed everything. Not much longer Mr. Trevena informed us I was approved. Thanks to the office of Mr. Trevena, I am now with great honor a permanent resident of the U.S. MY wife and I get to sleep well at night and move forward with our lives.
Immigration is a serious matter regardless of what you may think your chances are. You need a professional team by your side. I highly recommend the Law Office of Matt Trevena. This is a life-changing event and I would not be saying this if it were not true.
