Cliff worked with me through my divorce and 2 other matters that came with it and provided the highest professional expertise available. Recommend him to anyone needing and ethical and experienced attorney.

I would highly recommend Cliff Swayze to anyone seeking help with family law. He always makes himself so available to help and with a wonderful attitude. I know for a fact that he is a very busy man but always makes time for me regardless of the situation. The level of service your receive with him is top notch and you feel good knowing that, unlike the bigger firms, you're talking directly to the man representing you. Generally when you're in a situation where you need an attorney the stress levels are peaking. He has a great demeanor that assures you things are being taken care of and allows you to breath easily in a time you wouldn't imagine you could.

Clifford Swayze is one of the finest attorneys that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Clifford is passionate about his profession and the service that he provides his clients, he's down to earth, easy to communicate with, and very forthcoming and truthful with the legal options available for your situation, he will not tell you that he can do something if he cannot deliver on that promise. There may be cheaper lawyers in Travis/Williamson Counties but you will not find one that is better, and Clifford's rates are very reasonable, he worked with me on the payments after falling on hard times and did not drop my when I was not paid up. Clifford got me in the Williamson County PTIP program which I am told is very difficult to get accepted to and my charge was dismissed after finishing the PTIP program. I also have a friend that used Clifford and they are also very pleased with the outcome of their case. If you're looking for an attorney give Clifford a call and meet with him for a consultation, when you leave his office will not feel that you wasted your time.

I am a former client of Mr. Swayze's and would refer him to any of my friends or colleagues living in the Austin, TX area. I, myself, was referred to him through word of mouth. I must say, I've been very pleased with the attorney I selected. I have used his services on more than one occasion and am very grateful for his assistance and guidance he has given me during an otherwise unpleasant and stressful time. He is attentive with his clients and gets the job DONE! On top of that, he is a very sweet and professional gentleman! Even after everything is said and done, he's still there to answer any additional questions or address any concerns I may have. Overall, an excellent attorney!!

I found myself in the unfortunate need of a good attorney, and definitely found one in Cliff Swayze. He was patient, professional, and thorough. He kept me abreast of our progress and was always prompt to return my calls. In the end, he achieved the best possible outcome for my case. I highly recommend Cliff.

I contacted Mr. Swayze when I decided to file for divorce. He was very responsive and considerate to my situation. My case was not the easiest situation to complete being that my ex was located out of state and I am a retired disabled veteran. He took the time to fully listen to my situation and my concerns, developing a plan of action after processing all of the information. After our initial consultation, correspondence via e mail or phone was consistent and timely. The outcome was exactly what I wanted and found the whole experience to be easier and less stressful than I thought it would be thanks to his professional demeanor and knowledge of family law. He was also very reasonable in regards to the fees charged.

I was referred to Cliff by a dear friend of mine, who has known Cliff for years, ever since the two went to law school together. The recommendation was easily given by her and highly regarded by me, and he didn't fail to live up to any measure of it.
From the first, Cliff proved himself to be honest, knowledgeable, and experienced. He didn't sugarcoat anything, but rather he helped me to adjust my expectations for the outcome of the case to something more reasonable, and he did it in an understanding and helpful manner. I appreciated that. He went on to describe what my options were, as well as the risks/rewards involved. And then he began to work as one who has done it before does, with the sort of speed and efficiency a person in such a dilemma as my own would hope for. He had a solid plan in mind, with not only him looking to address the facts of the case, but also a number of measures and steps for me to take to show myself, if necessary, to be worthy of any consideration for leniency from the DA's office and the court. I was impressed by the scope of his thoughtful approach.
And in the end, the resolution I received on the case was quite arguably the best I could have honestly and reasonably hoped for, and certainly better than I knew to expect. Cliff was diligent in his efforts to negotiate on my behalf with the DA's office, maintaining a difficult stance that he knew I preferred, until he came back to me and told me of an offer I quickly agreed to. I remain grateful for that.
While I and my family/friends have been fortunate enough to not require Cliff's service since he so effectively represented me, I nevertheless keep his contact information with me at all times in the event that I or someone I know needs quick direction towards such a quality and professional attorney.

Clifford swayze is an excellent attorney. hes honest, trusting and works hard to get things done for you. my case was suppose to take at least 10 months before seeing something get done due to thats just how dealing with courts is, but cliff got things done and figured out in just 1 month. i would happily recommend him to anyone. hes all about communication and that was a big plus because you always knew what was going on in your case and never left with questions. very pleased!

I met with Clifford only a few hours after being arrested. He was compassionate, trustworthy and got stuff done fast. I was out of jail after only 12 hours, and he brokered a fantastic deal with the prosecutors months before his initial projections!

I was arrested for a DUI and was referred to Cliff by a friend of my brothers who was close to Cliff and vouched for his character. Before I ever hired Cliff, I got to speak with him for over an hour on a Sunday, as he took the time to answer my questions and set realistic expectations. This may be one of the biggest differences between lawyers: there are those who tell you what really happens and don't get your hopes up that your case will easily be dismissed, and those that do. I had done enough reading to know that pressures from groups like MADD were making it very hard for prosecutors to dismiss cases, it reflects poorly on them so they try and stick you with whatever charge they can. Cliff, as mentioned in another review, was a straight shooter with me and let me know what I was going to be dealing with and that it likely wouldn't be a fast process. Based on that call, I went with my gut and hired Cliff and I have to say that I made the right choice. I was always kept aware of updates, he was on time to any meeting or court appearance we had, and more importantly, I felt like I was talking to an every day guy, not a slimy lawyer. In other words, he makes you comfortable. Also, I always appreciated how available he was. If I called and had a question and he was in a meeting, I'd always get a call back after or after he left work, he had no issues using his own personal time to answer questions. In the end, I feel very fortunate that my case was conditionally dismissed, which means I'll do some community service and can't get in trouble for a certain length of time and it will be removed from my record. Is this to say your case will be dismissed? Obviously not, but I can vouch for Cliff, you'll be giving your business to someone who will work to earn it instead of a lawyer who acts like they're doing you a favor.
