About Me

Reynaldo G. Garza, III (Trey) grew up in Brownsville, Texas. He is the grandson of Judge Reynaldo G. Garza, the first Mexican-American federal judge in the history of the United States. He is the son of Reynaldo Garza, Jr. a successful lawyer and mediator practicing in Brownsville, Texas. For Trey, the choice to become an attorney was an easy one.

After graduating from Baylor School of Law in 1998, Trey moved back to the Rio Grande Valley to practice law like his grandfather and father had done before him. He immediately found that he enjoyed being in the courtroom. Over the years, Trey has successfully litigated all manner of cases including criminal defense, personal injury, banking/contractual disputes, real estate matters, employment law and divorces. His law practice includes working in both federal and state courts.

Please do not hesitate to contact Trey’s office for an appointment or telephone consultation or email: There is no charge for the initial consultation.
