Reese Campbell understands the legal system. Reese is dedicated to justice and has spent his entire career as a trial lawyer. He began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Galveston County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. After five years as an assistant criminal district attorney, Reese gained experience and knowledge after prosecuting thousands of cases. This includes jury trials ranging from driving while intoxicated to murder.
Reese was then quickly promoted to the felony trial division. While he was in the felony trial division, he prosecuted all ranges of felony offenses. He had jury trials ranging from drug possession to murder. Reese was also responsible for approving arrests, searches, and prosecutions. He was also responsible for educating law enforcement and junior prosecutors.
Reese believes that nothing can be better than firsthand experience when fighting your case. While at the District Attorney Office, Reese was the head of the Organized Crime Unit for the District Attorney’s Office where he handled gambling offenses. In this capacity, he approved prosecution. This allows him to understand how law enforcement acts and conducts investigations. He worked with law enforcement from the beginning of an investigation to the end. Reese would even be on site for raids and execution of search warrants.
Reese has extensive experience in the courtroom. He has tried over 50 jury trials, and has conducted hundreds of hearings in criminal courts. He has worked in Galveston, Harris, Brazoria, and Fort Bend counties.
Reese Campbell graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Bible Studies. He earned his Law Degree in from St. Mary’s University Law School in San Antonio, Texas where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and within the top 5% of his class.
