I am a law graduate of SMU Dedman School of Law admitted to the State Bar of Texas to practice. Having spent most of my childhood witnessing my Colombian mother and aunt experience various obstacles to their residency, I have firsthand knowledge of what a difference a sincere and competent Immigration Attorney can make.
For that reason, I have targeted my experience to gain a thorough understanding of several areas of Immigration Law including Removal Defense, Family-based and Employment-based Immigration & Consular Processing. In these areas, I have come to research and brief issues regarding Adjustment of Status, Cancellation of Removal, Waivers under 212(h), 212(i), and former 212(c), etc. I have successfully represented clients for H-1B and L-1A petitions, I-360 Widow Petitions along with I-601 waivers, and for the new I-601A Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver.
I believe that these experiences have provided me the practical skills, client interaction and legal judgment necessary for the increasingly competitive and demanding Immigration Law market. I am also fluent in reading, writing and speaking the Spanish language in the interest of facilitating open communication with clients.
