Solomon Morrow is a Houston-based attorney whose practice focuses primarily on issues involving litigation. In particular, Mr. Morrow concentrates his practice on litigating disputes in the areas of labor and employment law, civil litigation and business litigation. Mr. Morrow is a proactive, client-focused attorney who provides extensive advice, counsel and training to all clients to ensure efficient and equitable dispute resolution.
Mr. Morrow’s experience includes civil, consumer and business litigation in a number of industries. As a former intern with the Harris County Attorney’s Office, Mr. Morrow supported the litigation practice group. Mr. Morrow specializes in advising clients who have been involved in wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination and other employment related issues. Mr. Morrow is dedicated to working with individuals and businesses to understand their rights and remedies that are provided by the law.
Mr. Morrow is a native of the south-side of the City of Chicago. After completing high school, Mr. Morrow, in three short years while maintaining a “B” average, successfully earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Iowa State University. While a student at Iowa State University, Mr. Morrow increased his understanding of world cultures by studying abroad in Yucatan, Mexico and Kenya, East Africa. Through hard work, perseverance, determination, and a strong will to succeed, Mr. Morrow also was able complete two Master’s degree programs.
Before entering into the practice of law, Mr. Morrow worked 5 years as a Special Educator in the Baltimore City Public School System. As a Special Educator, Mr. Morrow displayed the ability to speak on a broad range of topics and reflected depth and understanding of the resources and programs available to the special needs community. Mr. Morrow also worked a year as teacher in the Houston Independent School District. Mr. Morrow served a Math Specialist at a local elementary school and assumed leadership for curriculum implementation and other district-wide initiatives and presented content-specific training modules at the building level to faculty and staff.
Mr. Morrow graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshal School of Law. While a student at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Mr. Morrow worked as a legal writing advisor and a Federal Rules of Evidence tutor. As a legal writing advisor and a Federal Rules of Evidence tutor, Mr. Morrow assisted first-year law students in the process of drafting predictive and persuasive writing assignments and provided supplemental instruction to second-year law students in order to strengthen their understanding of the Rules of Evidence.
When not engaged in the practice of law, Mr. Morrow is an avid reader and practices the art of Tae Kwon Do.
